This tour will begin after guests have been picked up from the specified departure location. Today, we will visit the best sights in Rome. We will marvel at the Colosseum and the Roman Forum, where we able to skip the lines to get right inside. We will also make stops at the Capitoline Hill, the Trevi Fountain, the Pantheon, and Piazza Navona. An experienced, knowledgeable guide will accompany us along the way, providing us with information and unique insights about each of these locales. Afterwards, we will return to the departure point, where the tour will end. Please see "Departure and Return" for more detailed information regarding pickup and drop-off times and locations.

    Roman Forum

    More commonly known as simply the "Forums," this ancient site was once a public square surrounded by active governmental buildings. The ruins go back at least as far as the eighth century BC and were the heart of ancient Rome.

    Capitoline Hill

    One of the seven hills of Rome, the Capitoline was the citadel of the ancient city. The current layout at the top of the hill was designed in the Renaissance by celebrated artist Michelangelo.

    Trevi Fountain

    Perhaps the most famous fountain in the world, this baroque masterpiece from the 18th century is best known for the myth that tossing coins in brings good luck. People from all over the world come to throw money into the fountain.

    Pantheon

    Built in the year 126 AD, this famous piece of antiquity once served as a temple to all of the major Roman gods. One of the most well-preserved remnants of ancient Rome, it has been in almost constant use.

    Piazza Navona

    The site of this famous square was once the Stadium of Domitian in ancient times. The centerpiece of the piazza is the Fountain of the Four Rivers, which was designed by Bernini and features an Egyptian obelisk.

  • Please note that for security reasons big bags, backpacks, trolleys, etc. are not permitted inside the Colosseum and the Roman Forum. There is no bag deposit at the Colosseum where to leave your bags.

  • Cancellation Policy: The payment is fully refundable if the reservation is canceled 3 business days or more prior to the scheduled tour.
  • Rain Policy: The tour goes on rain or shine. In case of heavy rain, we might decide to stop the bike tour and proceed with a walking tour instead.
    Guest options on rainy days:
    Proceed with the tour hoping for clearing weather - with the understanding that no refund or discount will be given if Segway are not ridden due to rain, or if the Segway tour is abbreviated due to rain.
    50% refund for client cancellation
    Rain check to be used the following day or at any other time, subject to availability. The Rain check is a voucher given to client. The voucher is transferable and may be sold or given to others to use at a future date and lasts up to 1 year from date.
    The refund amount will be credited directly to your TakeTours wallet as credits for future use. Or the refund can also be forwarded directly to your credit card with a 6% handling fee.
  • Prices may vary and are subject to availability by season, weekend, and/or holiday.
  • While we will make every effort to maintain a regular operation, we reserve the right to cancel a scheduled trip and issue a full refund to affected customers under special circumstances.
