What is the TakeTours Price Protection Guarantee?

When you make a purchase on TakeTours.com, our Price Protection Guarantee ensures that you are getting the best price. TakeTours.com will refund the price difference of any tour if the price of that specific tour goes down within 14 days after your purchase. Simply contact our Price Protection team at priceprotection@taketours.com and we’ll process your refund.

Conditions:

  • TakeTours Price Protection applies only to tours booked on TakeTours.com.
  • TakeTours Price Protection applies only to the tour purchased (this is verified by the tour code). Price differences for similar tours are not valid.
  • Price Protection claims must be made within 14 days after the initial purchase and up to 1 day before the travel date. Claims must be sent in writing to priceprotection@taketours.com within this time frame in order to qualify for a refund.
  • Price Protection applies only to direct and active price cuts on TakeTours.com.
  • Price Protection does not apply to indirect discounts such as the Tour of the Day, Trivia Discount, Coupons, price fluctuation due to foreign currency changes (applies to tours outside the US), Black Friday, Cyber Monday, or Last Minute Deals discounts.
I am a single traveler. How can I book the tour? How can I find a travel companion? If you are traveling alone, you can book a single-occupancy room. If you would rather have a roommate, you can find a travel companion through TakeTours by posting your requirements via the link: https://www.taketours.com/cgi-bin/ce.fcgi?a=post_companion_page or you can see all posts here .If someone is interested in traveling with you, you can co-ordinate this directly with the person.
Do I need to purchase travel insurance? It is not mandatory. However, we encourage our custumers to purchase a travel insurance in order to be protected from any circumstances outside your control that may arise (eg. your flight gets canceled, weather conditions, etc). You may purchase your travel insurance here
How to find my lost on the bus? We and bus carriers are not responsible for lost or misplaced baggage. But you can contact us or bus carriers to double check if driver find any lost baggage on the bus.
Can minors travel alone? Due to safety reasons the tour does not allow minors and children to travel alone on the tour. They have to be accompanied by an adult (18 years and older) at all times.
