The tour was great, specially the Saint Anne Canyon. We enjoyed the fall foliage. The only thing that we did not like was limited lunch options.

This was a very big disappointment. First we were picked up late by a dirty van. Seven passengers were cramped in this van. No guide at all. We had a driver. Daniel was very nice but most of the time he spoke Chinese to other Chinese passengers. We have no idea what was happening.
I do not recommend this trip at all.
The tour was in a very comfortable minibus and our group was around 12 people. It was in both English and Mandarin. There wasn't lots of information given on the tour but it was a good way to get to see the different sites. All activities are optional, however bear in mind that if you choose not to do an activity you must wait on the rest of the group and are not able to go onto the next thing, I chose not to go to the observatoire and ended up just walking round the area nearby, we couldn't go ahead to visit the city. All the stops are quite short but there is sufficient time to see the falls (50 minutes), the canyon (1 hour) and the observatory (30 minutes), I could have used more time in the city, we had 2 hours, but I understand that isn't practical with the itinerary. There was a change to the itinerary for our first stop, we went to the falls before the canyon, I didn't hear why, but it still worked. It isn't so much a guided tour, but a way to get to all the places. Overall, a good way to see the places around Quebec and get a glimpse of the city.
Had a wonderful time. Max was our guide. He was very informative and kept the tour on schedule so we could maximize our time. So much to see in a day trip and the time went by very fast. Would recommend.
In general the tour was good, but I dislike some things. First, you will spend a lot of time in the bus and a little time in the atractions (only 25 minutes in Montmorency falls! too bad). The tour did not mention a stop at the Ice hotel, in fact in the Q&A section there is a response that says that the ice hotel is not part of this tour, but we actually went there. I didn't want to go because I have seen it before and although you can decide not to pay for it, you will have to wait for the rest of the tour at least 1 hour. The buffet was very good, but I think it will be better to eat something typical or give more options. The buffet is in the middle of nowhere and again, if you don't want it you will have to wait 1 hour doing nothing. The bus conditions are good and the tour guide was excellent and enthusiastic.
There were good things about this trip. The best was the Montmorcery Falls and second best was the buffet in the City, was very good. Most disappointing was that we did not have a guide only a driver, who told us nothing about what we were seeing. And yet we were to pay the $6 that was supposed to be for a guide and drivers tip. I know we had to go in a van, I didn't mind that, was fine, but it did not have the kind of lights that could be turned on and not bother the driver so we just drove through the dark for 3 hours, boring! I had a book to read, but couldn't. I also asked about going into the Walled part of the city, but no info was given and we were dropped too far from an entrance to walk to there. I would go again if was in the summer and there was a guide.
