Itinerary

Overview

In the morning, guests will be picked up from their hotels in Beijing to begin this tour. First, we will walk through Tiananmen Square, which will bring us to the Forbidden City and the Temple of Heaven. Then, we will enjoy a delicious lunch. In addition, we will visit the Chinese Silk Gallery. Afterwards, we will return to our hotels, bringing an end to the tour. Please see "Departure and Return" for more detailed information regarding pickup and drop-off times and locations.

With more than 20 million people, China's capital is one of the most populated cities in the world. Beijing is an incredibly ancient city, and its stylized architecture, opulent gardens, and more have made it a popular tourism locale.

Tiananmen Square

The 4th largest city square in the world, Tiananmen Square is a large, open area, surrounded on all sides by important national buildings: the Mausoleum of Mao Zedong, the National Museum of China, and the Great Hall of the People.

Forbidden City

For 500 years, the Forbidden City was the palace of the Chinese emperors. It is divided into two sections, the Inner and Outer Courts. The Palace Museum houses many collections of traditional paintings, jade, and ceramics.

Temple of Heaven

This large complex of Daoist buildings was built in the early 15th-century under the rule of the Yongle Emperor. The main structures are the Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests, the Imperial Vault of Heaven, and the Circular Mound Altar.

Departure & Return

Free pick-up service is available from hotels in downtown Beijing (within 4th ring road), please put hotel name and hotel address in "Hotel Info" area when booking. Exact pick up time and location will confirm later.
