The Wetlands are a complex of trails, located south of Isabela Island, Galapagos. They have a great variety of flora and fauna, as well as the spectacular landscapes of the bay. We will see native animals such as land turtles, flamingos and zarapitos, along with much flora and fauna.
We will visit nine trails that include the following sites: the Estero, the Poza Escondida, Poza Redonda, Tunel del Estero, Playa del Amor, Mirador de los Tunos and Pozas Verdes.

The guide will pick you up from your hotel, near to the urban perimeter of Puerto Villamil.
The tour starts early in the morning, when you will be picked up by a bus or car to take you to the starting point that is 30 minutes from Puerto Villamil and the trail that leads to the Sierra Negra volcano begins. The walk lasts about 5 hours, most of the journey is flat, with a few ups and downs.
When you enter the small volcano, which is inside the crater of the Sierra Negra Volcano, you will realise that it is still active as many of the holes feel warm when you put your hand close.
You will be dropped back off at Puerto Villamil's dock, where you will have to make your own way to your hotel.

The guide will pick you up in the lobby of the hotel or the meeting point provided for the tour to the tunnels, which lasts approximately one and a half to two hours. Firstly, the boat will navigate the various routes through the tunnels, offering guests the opportunity to observe the surrounding landscape. The tour will then proceed to Roca Union, a small islet situated in the open sea. Here, guests will have the chance to see a variety of marine life, including pelicans, Nazca boobies and patas boobies, as well as sea lions resting on the rocks.
The journey to the most beautiful rocky lava formations of the Galapagos takes approximately forty five minutes. These formations are known as tunnels, formed by ancient eruptions of lava that passed under the ground and collapsed, creating the arches on the water where vegetation grows out of the rocks. The crystal-clear water and sea lions fluttering between the arches provide a unique and memorable experience.
The planned activities include snorkelling with sea turtles, "tintoreras" sharks, golden rays, eagle rays, seahorses, and fish such as surgeons and damselfish. Following these activities, we will prepare for the return to Isabela. Please be aware that the drop-off point will be at Puerto Villamil's dock. You willneed to make your own way back to the hotel.
We will be waiting for you at Puerto Villamil to take you to Santa Cruz. Please note that there is no pickup in the hotel, you must go to Puerto Villamil's dock by yourself.
Our fleet of small cruisers is new and will be a shared service for your convenience. The duration of the transfers is approximate and will depend on the time of day and traffic conditions.
This shared transport allows you to take 2 suitcases and 1 handbag per person. You will need to present your voucher to our representative along with an identity document.
We will disembark in Puerto Ayora, Santa Cruz. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Please note that this service is one way only.
Begin to take a walk in the Volcan Chico is located northwest of the boiler, so it is not affected by the mist that always rushes in the southeast sector of the high islands. We will start this tour picking you up at your hotel, then we will transfer to the Cabo Rosa tunnels, this is one of the best places for snorkelling because its waters are calm, clear and shallow.
