Travel to Buckingham Palace
One of the most famous palaces of the British monarchy (perhaps second only to Westminster Abbey), Buckingham Palace dates back to 1705. In addition to serving as a museum and art gallery, it has been the main residence of the royal family since 1837. It has been under construction of some sort for most of its life, most recently after it was bombed during World War II and had to undergo significant repairs in the ensuing years.
