Inouye International Airport as part of a small group and take you to Pearl Harbor for the USS Arizona Battleship. The tickets are included, so you won’t have to worry about getting them on your own or waiting in line. We will take you to Pearl Harbor in a nicely appointed vehicle. The driver will take you into the Pearl Harbor Visitor Center, give you a professional orientation, and present the Arizona Memorial tickets directly to you. From there, you will have a chance to see the two Pearl Harbor Museums, “Road to War” and “Attack.” Both of these will provide you with context regarding the reasons, planning, and aftermath of the attack on Pearl Harbor. An audio tour is available but not included in this tour, and you are free to rent it on your own from the Arizona Memorial Audio Desk if you choose to. There are also a number of outdoor exhibits for you to look through, such as the USS Arizona’s Anchor, the sculpture “The Lone Sailor,” which is dedicated to everyone in the sea services, past, present, and future, and the Waterfront Submarine Memorial which is dedicated to all US submarines lost in WWII. Go on a drive-through of the solemn National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific at Punchbowl Crater. Punchbowl National Memorial Cemetery is the final resting place of Veterans from WWI to today. From there, we will take you on a tour around the Island of Oahu. You can enjoy a brief stop at the Nuuanu Pali lookout. See the verdant beauty of Oahu's windward side. Then, travel along Oahu's beautiful north shore. See the scenic Mokolii Island, also known as Chinaman's Hat. See the world-renowned surfing beaches at Sunset Beach and Waimea Bay. Experience the quaint old town atmosphere of Haleiwa. Visit the Dole Plantation and learn about Oahu's agriculture as well as the origin of the well-known Dole corporation.
