Embark on a full-day adventure from Mendoza as we head south through the stunning landscapes of the Uco Valley, where deserts, water mirrors and striking geological formations create a unique natural contrast.
Our first stop is the Los Nihuiles Hydroelectric Complex, home to the El Nihuil Dam and Reservoir, an essential site for understanding the region’s energy development. This area is also popular among nature lovers for fishing and water activities.
The journey continues toward the breathtaking Atuel Canyon, a natural wonder carved over millions of years. Marvel at its vibrant colors and impressive rock sculptures, including formations such as the Hanging Gardens and Rivadavia’s Armchair. Enjoy time to explore, take photographs, and appreciate the grandeur of this unique landscape.
To complete the experience, we visit the city of San Rafael for a pleasant stroll before returning to Mendoza in the late afternoon.
