Full description
This morning, our experienced driver/guide will collect you from your Hotel in your custom-built vehicle for your once in a lifetime tour to Cape Tribulation.
As you travel north along the Captain Cook Highway, you will be treated to beautiful coastal views. Our first stop this morning is at Mossman Gorge Centre. Board the shuttle bus to travel into Mossman Gorge, where our driver/guide will provide a fascinating & informative guided walk along the boardwalks.
Return to our vehicle and journey north to the Daintree River Cruise Centre for a 1-hour river cruise. Their expert guides will provide fascinating information on this unique area, which is home to a variety of wildlife including the estuarine crocodile.
Lunch is our next port of call and includes a delicious BBQ set amongst the beautiful Daintree rainforest – a lovely experience.
Our journey then takes us further north to beautiful Cape Tribulation Beach; a special place where the rainforest meets the reef. Here your driver/guide will take you along the Kulki Boardwalk to the Lookout, which provides great views back across Cape Tribulation.
It’s time then to turn south for a stop at the Daintree Ice Cream Company. Here you will enjoy a refreshing cup of exotic fruit ice cream; four flavours made from fruit grown on their on-site organic orchard. The last stop is at the beautiful Alexandra Lookout – a great photo opportunity with views over the rainforest canopy out to the Daintree River mouth and the Coral Sea. Now it's time to sit back and relax on the journey home after a memorable day exploring the World Heritage-listed tropical rainforest.
