Full description
Departure from Salta to the village of Tastil, know for its ruins. Continue to San Antonio de los Cobres where a lunch break and time for visit the place is made. Drive thrugh route 40 until reaching the Salinas Grandes, right on the border between Salta and Jujuy.
Salinas Grandes is one of the largest depressions in the province with more than 12.000 hectares of salt to the open sky that dazzles by the infinite vastness of white color that conform them. Then the descent begins by Cuesta de Lipán where condors are generally seen, arrival to the typical town Purmamarca and its Hill of the Seven Colors. Return to Salta.
