This island is located in the extreme southeast of the Dominican Republic. It is part of the Eastern National Park and is known for its mangroves, coral reefs and palm-lined beaches, such as La Palmilla. The shallow waters of the island are home to starfish. Here you will find the fishing village of Mano Juan, a quiet place near the Laguna de los Flamencos, with colourful huts and a turtle sanctuary.

06:15 am - Pick up from meeting point in Santo Domingo
10:30 am - Arrival in Bayahibe, very close to La Romana
10:35 am - Board the catamaran for the island of Saona
10:45 am - Time to enjoy local drinks and the boat's entertainment group to the rhythm of Dominican music.
11:45 am - Arrival at Saona Island
11:50 am - Free time to enjoy the island
01:00 pm - Free buffet, taste the best dishes of Dominican Creole cuisine
03:30 pm - Return to Bayahibe, stop at the natural swimming pool
