This tour is a perfect opportunity to get a full overview of Dubrovnik from the inside out, especially if you do not have more than one day to spend in Dubrovnik. This is why you should not miss visiting the most beautiful views in town. Make the best of your stay and see as much as possible by choosing this tour. Drive along the Dubrovnik Riviera and visit the most charming place called Cavtat. Discover the old town and dive into Dubrovnik’s rich history by walking along the numerous narrow side streets.
After meeting your guide we will start the tour with a panoramic drive around Dubrovnik. You will travel by car, mini-van or mini-bus (depending on how many people there are in your group). You will first visit Franjo Tudjman Bridge, where you have time to make beautiful pictures of the new harbour. Admire the views of Gruž port, Lapad peninsula, Mokosica and the so-called river area at the palm of your hand. We will briefly stay on the bridge, for you to soak in the panorama view and we’ll continue our drive down the Adriatic Road, the longest road in Croatia. We will continue the drive along the river of Dubrovnik, to the highest point in town, mountain Srdj. You will get an introduction to recent history and some time to take breathtaking pictures of the old town.
The tour continues with a panoramic drive along Dubrovnik’s Riviera to the most picturesque ancient town Cavtat. You will have a walk along the pretty waterfront promenade with views of luxury yachts and dalmatian architecture. The very beginnings of Dubrovnik’s history started from old Epidarus, today known as Cavtat. Our professional guide will introduce you to interesting stories about history and culture. You will have free time to explore the beauty of this magical little town.
The tour continues to the old town of Dubrovnik, where you will get a historical walking tour and explore the most interesting parts of the city such as Pile Gate, Stradun – the main street, Luza Square, Rector’s Palace, Dubrovnik Cathedral, Monument of Poet Ivan Gundulic, and Prijeko Street to name but a few.
After the walking tour, you will have free time to explore Dubrovnik at your own leisure before being dropped off back at the port and your ship.
