Then a visit to the Nabataean city of the Red Rose, Petra, with an English-speaking guide for 2 hours. Petra is one of the 7 Wonders of the World and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.Enter the city through a 1km long narrow gorge flanked by 80m high cliffs! Note the dazzling colours and formations of the rocks. The site is vast and contains hundreds of elaborate rock-cut tombs, a treasure chamber, Roman-style theatres, temples, sacrificial altars and colonnaded streets.
