A total freedom tour to Western Tuscany to discover two amazing cities: Pisa - the city of the Leaning Tower - and Lucca, less famous but uniquely beautiful!
Your chauffeur will meet you at your accommodation and take you to Pisa. About an hour later, you will be dropped off at Piazza dei Miracoliwhich houses Pisa's top 4 monuments: the Cathedral, the Baptistery, the Monumental Graveyard and, of course, the Leaning Tower. Take your time to enjoy the stunning sights, have a stroll around the city and do some shopping if you want… Our chauffeur will be happy to meet you anytime, any place you choose.
The tour continues to Lucca, particularly appreciated for its 16th century intact walls. The old town has preserved the rectangular Roman plan and traces of an amphitheater can still be noticed in its famous Piazza dell'Anfiteatro. Another urban attraction of Lucca is Via Fillungo, a lively cobbled street filled with unique shops, restaurants and neighborhood people. Don't miss the Guinigi Tower and its roof garden, the Clock Tower and St. Martin's Cathedral; last but not least, we would strongly advise you to take a relaxing walk on the city walls, in the shade of the trees, from where you can enjoy wonderful views over the city and its rooftops.
A peaceful oasis far from the madding crowd... Your chauffeur will remain at your disposal for the entire day, so when you are ready to leave, he will be waiting to drive you to your accommodation in Florence.
