From Piraeus Athens Port to Santorini by ferry is the best option you have and it can be a very nice and exciting experience. It takes around 4 h and 45 minutes or 7h and 30 minutes (according to the ferry selected) to arrive and then you can enjoy the island.
In Santorini, you can enjoy the wonderful sunset in Oia, its special architecture, some of the oldest vineyards, volcanic beached, greek food, etc.
You will board the boat according to the chosen port option.
The complete route of the boat is Piraeus-Sifnos-Syros-Mykonos-Milos- Naxos- Folegandros-Ios-Santorini. The boat stops just for a couple of minutes to these islands. The passengers don't have to get off the boat until they arrive at their destination.
