Tropic Wings, Cairns' most long-standing coach operator, invites you to partake in an excursion to Kuranda, a site nestled within the confines of the World Heritage Rainforest. This full-day expedition offers an immersive experience into the region's natural and cultural splendour.
A visit to the Rainforestation Nature Park, an award-winning establishment, offers the opportunity to embark on a guided tour in a historic Second World War Army Duck, in addition to feeding kangaroos and meeting cassowaries in the designated Koala and Wildlife Park.
The excursion to the Pamagirri Aboriginal Experience comprises a range of activities, including the throwing of boomerangs and spears, and the performance of traditional Aboriginal dances. A substantial lunch is also provided.
A visit to the Australian Butterfly Sanctuary offers the unique opportunity to encounter a vast array of lepidopteran species, with an estimated 1,500 butterflies present within the sanctuary's premises. During the tour, visitors will have the opportunity to experience two notable attractions: the Kuranda Scenic Railway and the Skyrail Rainforest Cableway. The package includes transfers to and from the your accommodation.
