Full description
Immerse yourself in the graceful art of “Hat”, the traditional Islamic calligraphy, during this hands-on workshop at the historic Kasımpaşa Mevlevihanesi in Istanbul.
Under the guidance of a skilled calligraphy master, participants learn the techniques of using the reed pen (qalam), ink preparation, and writing the beautiful Arabic letters that form the essence of Islamic art.
The workshop introduces the aesthetic principles and spiritual philosophy behind calligraphy in Mevlevi tradition.Each guest creates their own piece to take home, making this experience both cultural and deeply personal in one of Istanbul’s most spiritual heritage sites.
