Highlights of Montserrat - Half-Day Tour - Barcelona

Meet us at North Barcelona Bus station and board one of our comfortable coaches as part of a reduced group led by a local guide. We are headed to Montserrat’s foothill, where you will experience one of the favourite activities: using the super scenic cogwheel train (if option selected) to ascend to the monastery. You won’t forget the views!

You will land you at the very core of this magical mountain: the Santa Maria de Montserrat Abbey, which you are to learn everything about thanks to your local guide. Ask everything you want, our guides are filled with knowledge of the area and its history. They will also provide with all the necessary information you need to decide how to invest your free time best, which comes just following.

See the famous Black Madonna of Montserrat face to face (tickets must be purchased separately), visiting the interesting art museum, stuffed with great surprises by artists such as Dali or Caravaggio, enjoying the delightful farmer's market or just hiking along one of the many trails to keep on enjoying the views… the options for your free time are just too many (depending on the option you choose)!

Ride back to Barcelona after this fulfilling experience to be dropped off at the same spot you were picked earlier, at the city’s heart.

Please note that we offer three different departures for this tour:

- 8:45am departure: returns to Barcelona at 3:30pm.

- 9:45am departure: returns to Barcelona at 5pm (includes cogwheel train).

- 4pm departure: returns to Barcelona at 8:30pm (includes Boy’s Choir performance from Sunday to Thursday except especial holidays).
