Horse Riding in Heraklion - Full-Day Tour - Crete

Upon arrival at the stables, you will receive an introductory training to riding. Following this, you will be escorted to the horses and prepared for a ride to the mountains.

Following an hour and twenty-minute ride, you will arrive at the summit of the Finikia mountains, where you will dismount and take a brief rest. Guests are invited to enjoy a soft drink, raki, and fruit while taking in the spectacular view. The site offers a unique opportunity to view the mythical sleeping mountain of Zeus, the Greek God born in a cave on the Lassithi plateau, now resting opposite the Finikia mountains in Archanes.

After this pause, you will take the horses and wagon again, and go back to the stables, riding for another hour and fifteen minutes before you get to enjoy traditional Cretan traditional lunch with homemade wine.

When you finish lunch, you can sit out in the garden of the stables and have some more wine, while the kids or you can have a few more minutes of horse riding. At about two o'clock you will head back to your hotels or apartment.
