You are travelling with your family or friends and some of you have watched the show and some don’t but still want to get the best out of your time and cover all interests? This tour is the perfect opportunity to see the highlights of Dubrovnik in a blend of history and Game of Thrones.
We will show you how the history can be compared with some parts of the show.
Dubrovnik has a synonym since 2011 – King’s Landing! You will discover why HBO chose Dubrovnik for one of the most popular shows ever made.
Game of Thrones increased tourism for about 8 % but the reason why this little town is so popular for a long time is the timeless beauty and interesting history. Narrow side streets of the old town, Dubrovnik’s rich history, stunning views and much more is waiting for you, so join us on this tour!
After the tour you will have time to enjoy the old town by your own and try some local gelato and coffee suggested by your guide.
We start with a panoramic drive up to mountain Srdj from where you have the best view in town. You will get an overview of the new and old part of the city and some time to take memorable pictures.
Our first stop in town is fort of St. Lawrence -Red Keep where your guide will show you some of the main scenes from Game of Thrones. It is up to you if you want to visit the fort with your guide ( entrance is not included in the tour -50 HRK). Amazing views and interesting stories are waiting for you.
Walking through the old town we will show you all filming locations starting from Pile Gate. You’ll discover Dubrovnik was used for another big filming just recently. The walking tour will be a combination of history and Game of Thrones. All highlights from the show and interesting buildings we will see on our way.
Time has come to take you to the Iron Throne, so you can take your photo on it. After the tour, before we take you to the port you will have some free time to explore the old town on your own.
Once we’re done discovering all sights of our tour, we’ll drop you off back at the port and your ship.
