Full description

In the heart of Buenos Aires, in front of Plaza San Martín, you will find the emblematic Palacio Paz: one of the main architectural jewels of the city of Buenos Aires.

Built at the beginning of the 20th century by order of José C. Paz, founder of the newspaper La Prensa and Argentine ambassador in Paris from 1885 to 1893, it is the largest private residence in the country, and is one of the few residences in Buenos Aires that bear the title of Palace, given this mention for the design and layout of its internal rooms. It was designed as a family home, with four floors, 140 rooms and a total covered area of 12,000 m2.

Reflection of Beaux-Arts architecture, its architect was the prestigious Frenchman Louis-Marie Henri Sortais and the construction management was carried out by the prestigious Argentine architect and engineer Carlos Agote.

After being inhabited for a brief period by the Paz family, in 1938 it became the headquarters of the Military Circle, National Military Library and Museum of Weapons of the Nation. With this proposal, you can enjoy a Croque Madame breakfast or snack inside the Palace. Croque Madame are characterized by having a presence in extraordinary locations such as museums, clubs, and historical buildings.

Enjoying Argentine cuisine surrounded by historical walls and the beauty of the architecture and setting of this emblematic location is an unparalleled experience and an unmissable plan in Buenos Aires.
