Lagoons in San Pedro de Atacama salt flat welcome you to this land next to the desert valleys. This vast space gathers the flora and fauna that lives in the dry habitat of the Antofagasta Region, and allows an exchange of experiences between people and biodiversity.
Lagoons are the entrance to the subsoil composition, and for understanding how everything flows and connects in the valleys of the desert. They are also the door to magic, letting people visit them respectfully and rest in their salt water that allows floating.
Inserted in the middle of the Andes Mountain Range, it stands out for its geological content since from its past and through the famous Caldera de la Pakana it gave way to different geological structures, which have generated great study.
We go to some of the most beautiful points of San Pedro, we look at many lagoons, vegetation, and fauna. We visit places of cultural interest such as the Lickancabur volcano, highland lagoons and salt flats. In this tour, we will visit Licancabur Volcano Viewpoint, Vegas of Quepiaco, Monks of the Pakana and Aguas Calientes Salt Flat.
