Sydney by Night: Secret Bars and Stories - Small Group Tour

Drink and discover on Sydney’s best nightlife tour! Perfect for solos, friends, and locals of all ages who want a fun and unique night out exploring Sydney’s best small bars.

Your expert host will take you to 3 – 4 different bars including very well-hidden ones and some of Sydney’s top-rated bars. We include the first drink (beer or wine) and then leave it up to you to choose how you want to enjoy the night. There’s no pressure to drink, so if you prefer not to, we promise you’ll still have fun!

As we explore, you’ll hear a few fun stories, covering crime, local legends & other “pub trivia” worthy tidbits.

On Tuesday nights, we explore some of Sydney’s best bars around the CBD, with a focus on the “Bermuda’s Triangle” of small bars spread across York, Clarence and Kent (YCK) street precinct.

On Wednesday nights, come check out quirky Newtown with us, including Enmore Road (recently voted as one of the coolest streets in the world).

On Thursday nights, we hit up Circular Quay and The Rocks, where a bunch of fantastic new cocktail bars have opened up in recent years.

On Friday nights, you’ll have fun in the southern end of the city centre, including a visit to the Chinatown night markets and Thaitown, the hidden gem of Sydney’s CBD.

And on Saturday nights, we head to our favourite stomping grounds of Surry Hills and Darlinghurst, so you can party like the weekend it is!

After the tour, we’ll provide you with a map link to all the bars and places visited throughout the night, plus some extra spots to check out. This is your ticket to the best night out in Sydney!

Important information

Budget for drinks: Expect to spend at least $40 AUD extra per person on drinks (beers & wine only) or at least $60 AUD extra person if ordering mixed drinks and cocktails.

Dinner options: Food is not included on the tour, and as you’ll be drinking, we recommend that you eat before the experience. Feel free to message us for a restaurant recommendation close to the start point. Otherwise, some snack or entree food is generally available at the first or second bar we visit (but don’t expect to be ordering a full meal).

Age range: This tour is great for everyone over 18.
