This relaxing tour invites you to discover the gorgeous Chianti region of Tuscany and explore the iconic fortress of Monteriggioni.Forget all about your day to day worries and leave all stress behind, back in the distant hustle and bustle of the big cities, as you enjoy a day in the purest charm of natural surroundings.
When you arrive in Monteriggioni, you will be able to enjoy a leisurely stroll through its quaint stone streets and search for the many little shops that specialise in typical Tuscan products. However, if you are not in a shopping mood, you can always sit down at an elegant cafe and relish some of the good old Italian coffee and gelato.
The tour continues with a visit to a charming wine estate. Here you will take part in a guided tour of the wine cellars in order to learn all there is to learn about the fascinating wine producing process. To top the experience off, it’s then time for a tasting. Try some of the magical wines produced in these cellars paired with samples of sliced cold meats, bruschetta and salami. What’s more, the tour also includes a second tasting of olive oil and wine in another nearby cellar. A day in paradise!
