For seasoned hikers ready for a true desert adventure, this off the beaten path intense guided hike and rock scramble takes you deeper into the rugged terrain of the Valley of Fire with longer treks and significant rock scrambles to reach spectacular vistas

Expect steeper ascents/descents, uneven surfaces, and a higher level of physical exertion. As with all tours, hotel pickup in Las Vegas and snacks, bottled water and park stop at the visitor center are included.

Itinerary & Highlights

• Pick-up & Transit (approx. 60 min).

We’ll depart from Las Vegas in a comfortable vehicle and head toward Valley of Fire. Along the way, your guide will introduce the geology, ecology, and history of the Mojave Desert and the Red Rock area that will be discussed during your tour.

· Arrival & Hike Options.

Depending on group fitness, interest, and timing, our guide will select the best trail option for your group. Your guide will aim to balance adventure with enjoyment.

• Visitor Center (time permitting).

Upon arrival, we’ll stop first at the Valley of Fire Center, where you can browse exhibits on desert flora/fauna, geology, and cultural history. This is also considered a restroom break instead of having to use traditional trail options.

• Return / Wrap-up.

After finishing the hike, we’ll head back to the visitor center (if not already visited and time permitting) and begin the drive back to Las Vegas.
