Victoria Island and Myrtle Forest - Full-Day Tour - Bariloche

Victoria Island is home to lush forests of pine, coihue, and birch trees. Visitors can also see a reserve of native animals like the 'Pudu' (the world's smallest deer) and exotic species such as red deer and golden pheasants.

After an hour of navigation, departing from Puerto Pañuelo on the imposing Llao Llao Peninsula, we arrive at the Quetrihue peninsula, the seat of the Arrayanes Forest, located in the northeast of Lake Nahuel Huapi.

The tour begins with a 35-minute boat navigation from Puerto Pañuelo to Victoria Island (Puerto Anchorena). On Victoria Island, clients will have time for guided or independent walks on marked trails. The duration depends on the tour booked. Then a 25-minute guided walk is taken through the Los Arrayanes National Park to see the unique trees. And finally, the tour concludes with a 50-minute navigation back to Puerto Pañuelo.

The Arrayan (Quetrihue in the Mapuche language) is a shrub with an exquisite saffron color and white flowers. In this place, unique in the world, it takes the wingspan of a "tree" to form a magical and unusual Forest. Then we sail to Puerto Anchorena, Victoria Island, where it is possible to enjoy an autochthonous flora, prolific in species of magnificent size. Getting carried away in time, walking the trails that lead to Playa del Toro, to discover there the cave paintings made by native peoples of this area, within the framework of a splendid volcanic sand beach, is an unforgettable and magical experience.
