Zagreb Lower Town is one of 17 Zagreb’s districts. It is located in the very center of the city and this name is rarely used as its official name. This part of town is now considered as a center of business, shopping, art, museums and spacious parks.
Visiting Zagreb can be a walk in the park – literally! Lower town is famous for the lane of parks that we call „The Green Horseshoe“ and it offers magnificent view.
The tour will get you through the park so you can see over hundred years old trees, fountains, buildings in Neoclassical and Art Nouveau styles, galleries, museums, and our National Theatre are some of the places that the locals love the most and this walk will show you what makes Zagreb a central European metropolis.
By the end of the tour, we'll take a break just like locals would – enjoying a cup of coffee (or tea) in a nice cafe.
