We will start the day with a short walking tour in the Notre Dame Island, also known as the Ile de la Cité. Stroll along the Seine River and admire the Conciergerie, prison and last home of Marie Antoinette.
Then the tour guide will show us the Notre Dame Cathedral with its flying buttresses and gothic architecture. Your guide will unfold the histories and mysteries forever captured within these walls, from days of antiquity to the present. Once we've admired the exterior of this impressive edifice, we will continue to nearby Sainte Chapelle where we could have the Skip-the-Line access and straight into this hidden wonder of Paris.

At midday, we will have free time to enjoy lunch on own. Our guides will be there to assist with recommendations. Then we will go for a short walk to the Louvre. The expert guide will lead us straight past the long lines and straight to the best masterpieces. We could see Michelangelo's slaves, and of course the Mona Lisa, probably the most famous painting in the world.
This full-day tour will introduce us to some of the most iconic sights of Paris. Expert local guides help to not only to skip the long lines and navigate the crowds, but also to get most out of the time ensuring that we get the very best out of a day.

Ile de la Cite

Once the medieval center of Paris, the Western end of the Ile de la Cite has a palace, while the Eastern edge has become dedicated to religious buildings, including Notre Dame Cathedral.

Notre Dame de Paris

One of the most recognizable buildings in the world, the immortal Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris houses many of the most important relics in all of Catholicism. Visitors should be prepared to be awed by the majesty of the interior.

Sainte Chapelle

The Sainte-Chapelle is a royal chapel in the Gothic style, the residence of the Kings of France until the 14th century, on the lle de la Cite in the River Seine in Paris, France. It is considered among the highest achievements of the Rayonnant period of Gothic architecture.
The Louvre

The Louvre

One of the most well-known art museums in the world with one of the largest collections, the Louvre houses such masterpieces as the Mona Lisa and works by artists ranging from Raphael to Monet and everyone in between.
Due to renovation work carried on inside the Louvre until mid-October 2019, we might not be able to cover some artworks such as the Mona Lisa.

River Seine

The River Seine is perhaps the most important waterway in Paris. More than 37 bridges cross its waters within the city alone, and cruises along the River pass by almost every important location and sight in the city.

    Morning tour of Notre Dame: The statue of Henri IV, in the middle of Pont Neuf - at the western end of Ile de la Cit�.

  • The Morning tour of Notre Dame Island and Sainte Chapelle ends around 11:30am.
  • The Afternoon tour of the Louvre Museum ends around 5:30pm.
  • Tour guide will be wearing blue polo shirts or jackets at the meeting point for easy recognition.
  • Ending Location:
    Notre Dame: At the entrance to Sainte Chapelle
    Louvre: Under the glass pyramid inside the Louvre
  • Note: It is the responsibility of all guests to be at the meeting point 15 minutes before departure. Guests arriving after departure cannot be accommodated & missed tours or tickets cannot be refunded.

Additional Notes

  • Please note that the streets around the Notre Dame Cathedral are closed until further notice. Therefore we won't be able to access the square in front of Notre Dame and see the 0km point. However, the tour guide will ensure to take us through alternative routes so we can get as close as possible to the Cathedral.
  • Photography policy: Photography is permitted throughout the Notre Dame tour except in Sainte Chapelle where only non-flash photography is allowed. Non-flash photography is permitted throughout the Lourve tour.
  • Please note the Apollo Gallery will be closed until the end of December 2019, this means that the Crown Jewel collection won't be visible until then. The tour guide will make sure to include other highlights in the itinerary.
  • Please note that parties of 7 or more people may be split in different groups on the day of the tour at the meeting point.
  • Many sections of the museum are not air-conditioned (as A/C is not standard practice in France).
  • Entrance into religious sites requires a strict dress code. Knees and shoulders MUST be covered for both men and women.
  • This tour involves a fair amount of walking, stairs and hills; comfortable shoes are recommended.
  • We strongly suggest that you avoid bringing large purses, bags, or backpacks on tour since large luggage may cause delays or possible denied entry because of security checks.
  • We regret that we are unable to accommodate guests with wheelchairs or any impairments requiring special assistance. We are also unable to accommodate strollers or baby carriages on our group tours.
  • Some sites visited lack shade and can be hot under direct sunlight. We recommend bringing a hat, sunscreen and a bottle of water in warm weather
  • We will do everything within our power to ensure timings and itineraries are respected; however, due to issues beyond our control, timings and sites are subject to last minute changes on rare occasions.
