Guests will be picked up from the specified departure location in Paris. We will begin the day by taking a historic tour of the city, traveling to Ile de la Cite, stop at Notre-Dame Cathedral Square (once it will be open), Le Marais, the Latin Quarter, the Sorbonne, Jardin du Luxembourg, Saint-Germain des Pres, Place Vendome. Please see "Departure and Return" for more detailed information regarding pickup and drop-off times and locations.

    Paris has been a thriving city for more than two thousand years. It is known all over the world as a city of art and romance, from its high-end cafes to the famous visage of the Eiffel Tower.

    Ile de la Cite

    Once the medieval center of Paris, the Western end of the Ile de la Cite has a palace, while the Eastern edge has become dedicated to religious buildings, including Notre Dame Cathedral.

    Le Marais

    Le Marais is one of the Paris's liveliest neighborhoods, home to several of the city's best art galleries. One of the oldest neighborhoods, many of the Marais' buildings have historical or architectural significance.

    Paris-Sorbonne University

    One of the top-ranked universities in the world, the University of Paris IV -Paris-Sorbonne was formed after student protests and riots forced the division of the University of Paris into thirteen independent schools in the 1970s.

    Jardin du Luxembourg

    The Jardin du Luxembourg is also a botanical garden and statuary, containing hundreds of statues, including the original model of the Statue of Liberty. The park builds up to beautiful Luxembourg Palace, the headquarters of the French senate.

    Saint-Germain-des-Prés

    Saint-Germain-des-Pres is a neighborhood in Paris, known for the abbey that bares the district's name, as well as being a center for 20th century intellectualism. After the Second World War, it became the home for jazz and existential literature and philosophy.

    Place Vendome

    Place Vendome is an open square in Paris. The column at the center was erected by Napoleon after his victory at Austerlitz. It is a sight to behold at night, when it is illuminated by old-fashioned Parisian streetlights.

    The Louvre

    The Louvre
    One of the most well-known art museums in the world with one of the largest collections, the Louvre houses such masterpieces as the Mona Lisa and works by artists ranging from Raphael to Monet and everyone in between.

    River Seine

    The River Seine is perhaps the most important waterway in Paris. More than 37 bridges cross its waters within the city alone, and cruises along the River pass by almost every important location and sight in the city.
