Located in central Arizona at the heart of the Sonoran Desert, state capitol Phoenix was founded in 1861 in an area known as the 揤alley of the Sun because of its sunny, desert climate. It provides easy trips to Sedona, Tucson, the Grand Canyon.
If you are looking for a great guided tour from Scottsdale to the Grand Canyon and Sedona (in a day) - this is the ONE! The guide will make or break the tour because the day is a lengthy day and the guide matters - Cody is the BEST!. On this trip, Cody was the driver, host and guide. He has a professional demeanor and he set expectations for the day upfront! On the way to the Southern Rim of the Grand Canyon, Cody provided excellent history, happenings and even places we may want to see/explore if we had another day or two in the area. He is not a stranger to Arizona and shared stories that were of interest to everyone! Cody also provided lunch on the trip and it was great! There were also sufficient stops along with way for bathroom breaks and places to pick up a snack or beverage. The two primary stops for the Grand Canyon were completely amazing and there was plenty of time to shop, hike, take photos and explore! After lunch, the tour took us on one of the 10 most scenic drives in the U.S. to Sedona (home of all the Red Rock). We were able to shop and have time to explore this touristy city in AZ. Cody took the tour for a final view of the city looking at the vast panoramic view of the mountains and valleys surrounding Sedona. This tour exceeded our group's (4) expectations and we all recommend it to anyone who has a day to spend going from the desert to the mountain views. When our group discussed the investment of time and money - we felt like this was the best activity of our trip. This is an amazing day - don't miss it!
Codi did an amazing job as our tour guide. We appreciated his knowledge of the area. He was also very reasonable and not demanding regarding the time at each place. Being our first trip to the Grand Canyon, I am so glad I booked this tour!!
My spouse and I had a private tour to see Tombstone and a copper mining town called Bisbee. Our guide, Cody, was punctual picking us up at our hotel, and very informative and professional during the entire experience. We were happily surprised to have an unexpected stop at Saguaro National Park for a photo opportunity and restroom break. Along the way, Cody shared interesting facts and answered every question we had about Arozona. On this tour, Cody gave us plenty of time to go on our own and explore, and had everything organized so that we had a smooth experience! Great tour, will definitely book another one!
It was an amazing experience. I highly recommend this tour. Definitely worth the money and the view. Our tour guide Ron was also excellent and a great guide. The Grand Canyon is worth every penny.
David was excellent. He was attentive and kind. He made sure we got where we needed to go. He was a safe diver. He was a joy to spend time with and to get to know. I would highly recommend this tour, especially with David Crane!
We were a group of 6 women. Robert was an excellent driver as well as tour guide. He was very accommodating. My friends were impressed with all the beautiful scenery as well as Robert's knowledge of Arizona.
