Day 1: Tour Options

Option 1: Vancouver

Today we will gather in Vancouver. Our guide will meet you at the airport for transfer to the hotel. After, guest who arrive before 1:30 pm will take a half-day tour of the city that includes stops at Canada Place, Vancouver Convention Center, Olympic Cauldron and Stanley Park etc, and take a mini ferry ride to Granville Island.

Vancouver, BC

Stanley Park

One of Vancouver's main tourist attractions and beloved by visitors and locals alike, this massive park on the western coast of Canada is not to be missed. Stanley Park was the first park in Vancouver, and remains the largest.

Canada Place

The roof of Canada Place, Vancouver's large convention facility, is made of cloth pieces to resemble sails. This complex contains the Vancouver Convention Center, the local cruise ship terminals, the city's World Trade Center, and a hotel.

Olympic Cauldron

Constructed for the 2010 Winter Olympics, Vancouver's Olympic Cauldron stands as a reminder of the legacy of those great games. Located by the Vancouver Convention Center, the cauldron is an interesting piece of architecture.

Granville island

Granville Island is a peninsula off of the main hub of the city of Vancouver, a shopping district across the water from the downtown area, as well as a center of art and culture for the city.

Vancouver Convention Centre

The Vancouver Convention Centre in British Columbia, Canada is one of the country's largest convention centers. It has twice been selected as the "World's Best Convention Center." The Center was an important place in the 2010 Winter Olympics.

Option 2: Seattle - Vancouver (142 miles)

Today we will gather in Seattle. After pickup from the airport, we will take an excursion of the city that includes a brief stop at Space Needle. At the end of the day we will transfer to the hotel in Vancouver, BC.

Seattle, WA

This city in the top-left corner of the United States is a major seaport as well as a cultural center. Whether you want to enjoy the scenery, grab some great coffee, or learn history, Seattle has something to offer.

Space Needle

This icon of the American Northwest has adorned everything for movie screens to postage stamps. Built in 1961 for the 1962 World's Fair, the Space Needle features outdoor elevators and a rotating restaurant at its top.

Day 2: Vancouver - Fraser Valley - Kelowna - Okanagan - Sicamous (320 miles)

We will start our journey via the trans-Canada highway, pass through Fraser Valley and head east for Kelowna where is the heart of the Okanagan Valley. At Lake Okanagan, we will listen to its legendary story and search for the lake monster "Ogopogo." Afterwards, we will visit the renowned winery to learn about the basics of winemaking. We will spend the night in Sicamous.

Okanagan, BC

It is one of the warmest regions in all of Canada. During the summer months, visitors are offered countless sandy beaches, hot sun, and a variety of outdoor and water activities. It is also a spectacular backdrop to the golf courses and Okanagan wineries and popular ski resorts.

Okanagan Lake

This large and deep lake in the Okanagan Valley region of Canada's British Columbia is a popular recreation spot that offers a variety of activities in addition to gorgeous scenery. It has a surface area of 351 square kilometers.
Sicamous, Canada

Sicamous is a district municipality in British Columbia located adjacent to the Trans-Canada Highway at the Highway 97A junction, where Mara Lake empties into Shuswap Lake via a short narrows. Sicamous is a resort town about halfway between Calgary and Vancouver and is the eastern gateway to the Apple Country.

Day 3: Sicamous - Rogers Pass - Yoho National Park - Banff National Park - Banff (168 miles)

We will visit the Rogers Pass, then enter the Yoho National Park and visit the Emerald Lake. We will ride the Gondola and enjoy a bird's eye view of the majestic Rocky Mountains, enjoy view of the Hoodoos. Later we will head to Banff and explore at your own pace.

Glacier National Park, BC, BC

A portion of the Columbia Mountains Natural Region, in the interior wet belt of British Columbia. The steep, rugged mountains, warm, moist climate and wide variety of plant and animal life are typical of this natural region.

Rogers Pass

Rogers Pass in Glacier National Park, British Columbia, Canada takes the Trans-Canada Highway through the Selkirk Mountains. This natural mountain passageway was discovered in 1882, and has since been christened a National Historic Site of Canada.
Yoho National Park, AB

These are the western slopes of the Canadian Rocky Mountains. Towering rockwalls, spectacular waterfalls and soaring peaks earn the park its name.

Emerald Lake

The Emerald Lake in British Columbia, Canada's Yoho National Park is the largest of the park's many lakes and one of the park's most popular spots. The lake is named for the spectacular turquoise color of the water.
Banff National Park, AB

Canada's oldest national park-- and one of the first national parks in the world-- is home to an icy but gorgeous landscape.

Banff Gondola

This unique cable-car ride takes visitors to Alberta, Canada's Banff National Park to the top of Sulphur Mountain, a UNESCO World Hertitage Site. Atop the mountain there are many viewing areas, a long boardwalk, and two small museums.

Banff Gondola will be closed for maintenance from Jan 5 -17, 2020.

Banff, known as the "soul of the Rockies" is a small town located within Banff National Park in Alberta. It is within distance of several hiking mountains and is home to many shops and boutiques.

Day 4: Banff National Park - Jasper National Park - Jasper (133 miles)

Driving past Castle Mountain, we will visit Lake Louise and enjoy lunch at the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise (meal plan). Then we will ride across the Athabasca Glacier on an "Ice Explorer", step up onto the Glacier Skywalk.

Banff National Park, AB

Canada's oldest national park-- and one of the first national parks in the world-- is home to an icy but gorgeous landscape.

Moraine Lake

This glacial lake in Banff National Park's Valley of the Ten Peaks has a brilliant bright blue color due to rock flour that runs into its water. This beautiful and famous lake has appeared in advertisements the world over.

Lake Louise

Lake Louise is a glacial lake in Alberta, Canada's Banff National Park. The lake is known for its vibrant blue-green coloration, which comes from rock flour carried into the lake by the water of the nearby melting glaciers.

Columbia Icefield

The Columbia Icefield in the northern part of Banff National Park covers an area of about 200 square miles in the Canadian Rockies. The Icefield feeds eight major glaciers in the area, including Athabasca Glacier and Dome Glacier.
Jasper National Park, AB

Offering visitors a more laid-back mountain experience - with equal options for adventure, discovery and relaxation. The park includes the glaciers of the Columbia Icefield, hot springs, lakes, waterfalls and mountains.

Icefields Parkway

A 230 km long scenic road that parallels the Continental Divide, traversing the rugged landscape of the Canadian Rockies, travelling through Banff National Park and Jasper National Park. It is named for features such as the Columbia Icefield, visible from the parkway. It links Lake Louise with Jasper to the north. At its southern end, the Icefields Parkway terminates at Highway 1.

Columbia Icefield Glacier Adventure

Ride the Ice Explorer, a large vehicle specially-designed to enable mobility over the incredible Columbia Icefield to the Athabasca Glacier.

Glacier Skywalk

Visitors to the Columbia Icefield Glacier Discovery Centre in Jasper National Park are treated to something new for the Glacier Skywalk. Modeled after the Grand Canyon Skywalk, this horseshoe-shaped bridge lets guests walk out over the cliffside glacier.

This town in the wilderness of Alberta, Canada serves as the gateway to the national park of the same name, where visitors can see the Athabasca Glacier. There are many lakes in the area.

Day 5: Jasper - Jasper National Park - Valemount (60 miles)

Full day in Jasper National Park. We will visit the Pyramid Lake, the Maligne Canyon, pass by the Medicine Lake. We will also visit the Maligne Lake with optional cruise ride that not only takes you through the breath-taking sceneries, but also includes a landing on the Spirit Island. After passing by the mountain Mt. Robson, we will arrive in Valemount.

Jasper National Park, AB

Offering visitors a more laid-back mountain experience - with equal options for adventure, discovery and relaxation. The park includes the glaciers of the Columbia Icefield, hot springs, lakes, waterfalls and mountains.

Pyramid Lake

Pyramid Lake is kidney-shaped lake in Jasper National Park, Alberta, Canada. It lies at the foot of Pyramid Mountain, a natural landmark that overlooks the town of Jasper.

Maligne Canyon

Maligne Canyon is a natural feature located in the Jasper National Park near Jasper, Alberta, Canada. Eroded out of the Palliser Formation, the canyon measures over 50 metres (160 ft) deep. Popular for sightseeing and exploration, the area contains waterfalls, stream outlets, birds and plant life.

Maligne Lake

This amazing lake and the scenery surrounding it is one of the most-photographed areas in the world. It is beloved for its crystalline waters, the surrounding mountains, and Spirit Island. The area is home to many animals, including caribou.

Mount Robson Provincial Park

Mount Robson Provincial Park in the Canadian stretch of the Rocky Mountains has been open to the public for one hundred years. It is part of the Canadian Rocky Mountain Parks UNESCO World Heritage Site and features impressive glaciers.

Spirit Island Cruise

Cruise down the lovely Maligne Lake to small Spirit Island, the landmark at which you will turn around to return to your starting point.

Day 6: Valemount - Clearwater - Kamloops - Vancouver (376 miles)

Travel along Thompson River and pass the district of Clearwater and Wells Gray Provincial Park. Heads west to Kamloops, a city with over 2,000 hours of sunshine per year. Visit the only GMP certified Ginseng factory in west Canada and learn about the amazing healing power of Ginseng. After passing by Hope and Hunter's Creek, we will then return to Vancouver, where we should arrive in the late afternoon, and transfer to the airport. Clearwater, BC

Clearwater is a district municipality in the North Thompson River valley in British Columbia, Canada. It's workforce is predominantly employed directly or indirectly by the forest industry. Tourism and related outdoors and sports services are also major industries, with Wells Gray Provincial Park just to the north.

Kamloops, BC

- Vancouver Airport in: (If you want to take a half-day tour of the Vancouver city, please meet tour guide before 13:30pm.)
  - Domestic arrivals please wait at the CLAIM BELT #3 in domestic arrival hall.
  - International arrivals, your tour escort will wait at "Welcome Figures" wooden statue in Arrival Hall. My wife and I have just done this trip and found it very well run, very reasonable for the price, accommodation was very good and tour guide very well informed about the areas we visited. Long days with places to visit but wouldnâ€™t have changed anything about the trip. We were picked up from a Pier 91 on time after we had finished a cruise and we were transferred from Seattle to Vancouver and after the tour, taken back to the airport.
