Day 1: Seattle - Vancouver(142 miles)

For those who will join the tour in Vancouver, the tour starts from the Vancouver Airport. Tour guides will wait at the number 3 luggage carousel for domestic arrivals and at the arrival lobby (Aboriginal sculpture) for international. A Vancouver sightseeing tour is provided free for all arrivals before 12:00pm. The city tour includes Chinatown, Gastown and Stanley Park. We will transfer to the hotel in the afternoon.

For those who will join the tour in Seattle, our tour guide will arrange to meet you at Baggage Claim Belt #14 at 12:00pm. A complimentary mini-excursion (of approximately 2 hours) of Seattle (rather than Vancouver) will be provided for all travelers scheduled to arrive before noon. Guests will visit Pioneer Square, and the Space Needle before crossing the border to their hotel in Vancouver for the night.

Today, we will travel from Vancouver to Kelowna, located in the heart of Okanagan Valley. At Lake Okanagan to hear the legend of the lake monster Ogopogo. Afterwards, we will visit a renowned local winery and later stop by a honey farm before checking into our hotel.

At Eagle Pass, we will stop at the Last Spike Memorial. From there, we will travel to Invermere, BC to spend some time at the Fairmont Hot Springs. We will spend the night in Banff, AB.

Day 4: Banff - Banff National Park - Revelstoke(130 miles)

In the morning we will see the Bow Falls just outside the city. We will also take the Sulfur Mountain Gondola to enjoy the fantastic view. We will then enter Banff National Park, where guests will see Lake Louise. At last we will see Last Spike.

Day 5: Revelstoke - Kamloops - Merritt - Vancouver(305 miles)

Today we will head from Revelstoke back to Vancouver, BC. On our way we will stop in Kamloops, BC to visit the Sunmore Ginseng Factory. After a quick stop for lunch in the town of Meritt, BC, we will continue back to Vancouver.

Day 6: Tour Options: Vancouver City Tour/Victoria City Tour or Whistler Ski Resort(258 miles)

Today, guests will be able to choose from 4 options.
Option A: Vancouver City Tour
Today we will first take Fly Over Canada and then have a city tour of Vancouver that includes visits to Capilano Suspension Bridge, Cliffwalk, Queen Elizabeth Park, Gas Town, Chinatown, Stanley Park and more!

Option B: Whistler Ski Resort
Today we will depart from Vancouver to Whistler, BC. Here, guests can ride the Peak 2 Peak Gondola or do some shopping in the newly-renovated Whistler Village. Our coach will transfer us back to Vancouver in the evening.

Option C: Victoria City Tour
Today we will depart for Vancouver Island by ferry. We will stop at the Butchart Gardens, Empress Hotel, Chinatown, the Legislative Buildings, Beacon Hill Park, and the Mile Zero Monument.

Day 8: Vancouver/ Seattle - Home

Today, guests will be transferred to the Vancouver airport via the hotel shuttle bus. Alternatively, guests may choose to be bussed to Seattle, WA for an extra fee and fly out from there. Please see "Departure and Return Details" for more information.
Banff Hot Springs would be closed from October 15-27, so the Rocky tour can not visit this attraction during this period.
  • Airport Pickup: Free transfer from the Vancouver airport (YVR) is available from 9:00am to 9:00pm. Paid Airport (YVR) Pickup: 08:00am - 11:00pm, no need to wait other guests. First two persons charged $120 in total; every one more person charged additional $10 per person. Pier Pickup Vancouver In Guests Only: $16 one way per person, wait in front of Pan Pacific Hotel at 09:00. Those arriving in Seattle will have to pay a transportation fee. Your tour escort will be holding a sign with your name.
    • For those who will join the tour in Vancouver: Domestic arrivals should meet at the number 3 luggage carousel, and international arrivals in the arrival lobby (Aboriginal sculpture).
    • For those who will join the tour in Seattle: Please meet the tour guide at 12:00pm at luggage carousel number 14.
  • Airport Dropoff: Guests will be dropped off at the Vancouver airport free of charge. Standard hotel providing free hotel shuttle to YVR between 6:00am - 11:00pm. Deluxe hotel providing 24-hour free hotel shuttle to YVR. You may also opt to be driven back to the Seattle airport at 7:00am for a transportation fee. Those departing from Seattle should schedule their flights to depart after 3:30pm.

Confirmation

  • Immediately after submitting your reservation you will receive a receipt of booking by email. Within 72 hours of submitting your reservation you will receive a confirmation email confirming the booking status. Please do not book any airline tickets until you receive the status of your booking.

Redemption

  • You will receive an confirmation email (e-ticket) after your order is received. Complete operator information, including local telephone numbers at your destination, are included on your confirmation email. You must print the e-tickets and take them along on your trip; they are your proof of purchase.

  • Booking changes
    A fee may be charged for any revision or alteration made to a reservation after the booking is confirmed. Name changes or corrections may be treated as a cancellation and cancellation fees will apply. A change of tour date or tour itinerary may be treated as a cancellation, and normal cancellation fees will apply.
  • Cancellations and Cancellation Fees
    Regardless of reason, cancellations result in costly charges from our travel and hotel providers covering penalties and fees incurred by canceling confirmed and pending bookings. Therefore, cancellation penalties and or fees will apply. Time of cancellation will be determined when notice is received and confirmed by our office. Notice of cancellation must be made directly to Taketours by email or through web mail at Contact Us.
  • Cancellation penalties per person as follows:(Notification day and departure day are not counted)
    31 days or more before departure - $50/per person penalty will be charged.
    21 - 30 days before departure - 50% of total purchase amount
    8 - 20 days before of departure - 75% of total purchase amount
    0 - 7 days before of departure - 100% of total purchase amount
    Unused features are non-refundable. No shows forfeit entire payment.
    The refund amount will be credited directly to your account. Or the refund can also be forwarded directly to your credit card with a 10% handling fee.
  • Itinerary Variations
    We constantly strives to improve tour itineraries and features. If such improvements can be made, or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control make changes necessary - we reserve the right to vary itineraries and to substitute hotels. At certain peak periods duplicate departures may operate, and sometimes in reverse order in which case hotels may vary from those stated on the itinerary pages.
  • Tour Cancellation:
    We reserves the right to cancel or re-schedule any tour departure in accordance with operating requirements or circumstances beyond its control. If cancellation is made any time prior to departure* of the tour, Taketours' only liability will be to refund to the passenger the amount it has received for the tour booking. We will try to re-book the same or similar tour. Please note that we are not liable for any cancellation penalties incurred on any other travel arrangements including air tickets purchased separately from customers.

  • Rockies Hotel Upgrade Option: Please contact us for Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise upgrade. The price is around 120/night/room, and only accept for 2 people share in one room.
  • Passport Required: Some nationalities may need multiple entry visas to the USA as well as a Canadian visa. United States alien residents require a valid alien resident card. Passengers are responsible for their own entry requirements.
  • Language: All tours are escorted by professional bi- or multi-lingual tour and/or driver guides (English/Chinese). Depending on the number of passengers booked for a particular departure, tours and/or languages may be combined to operate the tours.
