    Today we will gather in Vancouver. Our guide will meet you at the airport for transfer to the hotel. After, we will take a half-day tour of the city that includes stops at Canada Place, Vancouver Convention Center, Olympic Cauldron and Stanley Park etc, and take a mini ferry ride to Granville Island.

      The roof of Canada Place, Vancouver's large convention facility, is made of cloth pieces to resemble sails. This complex contains the Vancouver Convention Center, the local cruise ship terminals, the city's World Trade Center, and a hotel.

      Constructed for the 2010 Winter Olympics, Vancouver's Olympic Cauldron stands as a reminder of the legacy of those great games. Located by the Vancouver Convention Center, the cauldron is an interesting piece of architecture.

      Granville island

      Granville Island is a peninsula off of the main hub of the city of Vancouver, a shopping district across the water from the downtown area, as well as a center of art and culture for the city.

      Vancouver Convention Centre

      The Vancouver Convention Centre in British Columbia, Canada is one of the country's largest convention centers. It has twice been selected as the "World's Best Convention Center." The Center was an important place in the 2010 Winter Olympics.

    Seattle - Vancouver (142 miles)

    Today we will gather in Seattle. After pickup from the airport, we will take an excursion of the city that includes a brief stop at Space Needle. At the end of the day we will transfer to the hotel in Vancouver, BC.

    Vancouver - Fraser Valley - Kelowna - Okanagan - Sicamous (320 miles)

    Start our journey via the trans-Canada highway, pass through Fraser Valley and head east for Kelowna where is the heart of the Okanagan Valley. At Lake Okanagan, listen to its legendary story and search for the lake monster "Ogopogo." Afterwards, visit the renowned winery to learn about the basics of winemaking. Visit a local farm that produces fresh milk and ice cream, then settle down at Sicamous.

      It is one of the warmest regions in all of Canada. During the summer months, visitors are offered countless sandy beaches, hot sun, and a variety of outdoor and water activities. It is also a spectacular backdrop to the golf courses and Okanagan wineries and popular ski resorts.

      Okanagan Lake

      This large and deep lake in the Okanagan Valley region of Canada's British Columbia is a popular recreation spot that offers a variety of activities in addition to gorgeous scenery. It has a surface area of 351 square kilometers.

      Sicamous is a district municipality in British Columbia located adjacent to the Trans-Canada Highway at the Highway 97A junction, where Mara Lake empties into Shuswap Lake via a short narrows. Sicamous is a resort town about halfway between Calgary and Vancouver and is the eastern gateway to the Apple Country.

    Sicamous - Jasper National Park - Lake Louise Area (275 miles)

    Passing through the Rogers Pass, Golden and the beautiful Bow Lake, continue our adventure at Columbia Icefield. Ride on the massive Ice Explorer to trek onto the surface of the stunning Athabasca Glacier. Step on to Glacier Skywalk above the Sunwapta Falls, a glass-floored observation deck separating you from wildlife roaring below and the breathtaking glacial vistas. Then drive south to Lake Louise area.

      Offering visitors a more laid-back mountain experience - with equal options for adventure, discovery and relaxation. The park includes the glaciers of the Columbia Icefield, hot springs, lakes, waterfalls and mountains.

      Glacier Skywalk

      Visitors to the Columbia Icefield Glacier Discovery Centre in Jasper National Park are treated to something new for 2014-- the Glacier Skywalk. Modeled after the Grand Canyon Skywalk, this horseshoe-shaped bridge lets guests walk out over the cliffside glacier.

      Athabasca Glacier

      The Athabasca Glacier is the most-visited glacier in North America. It is one of the eight major glaciers of the Columbia Icefield. The Icefield Interpretive Centre is next to the glacier, and is where visitors can arrange tours.

      Ride the Ice Explorer, a large vehicle specially-designed to enable mobility over the incredible Columbia Icefield to the Athabasca Glacier.

    Banff National Park - Calgary (103 miles)

    Today we will visit Moraine Lake (subject to road conditions), take the Gondola Ride for view of the Rocky Mountains. Then we will visit Lake Louise, enjoy a lunch at Chateau Lake Louise (meal plan). Later we will visit Banff town and Bow Falls. Afterwards we will arrive in Calgary and visit Calgary Tower.

      Bow Falls

      The Bow Falls are a 30-foot-high, 100-foot wide waterfall just outside the city of Banff. The falls are popular with tourists because they are just a short walk from the town and can be reached on foot from most hotels.

    Calgary - Drumheller - Icefields - Banff (222 miles)

    We will proceed to Drumheller, discover the biggest dinosaur, visit Royal Tyrrell Museum. We will drive through David Thompson Highway and enjoy the landscape of the Abraham Lake and Kootenay Plains Provincial Recreation Area. We will enjoy the night in the wooden resort at Icefields Parkway.

    Today we will visit the spectacular Athabasca Falls and Maligne Canyon. We will discover Town of Jasper. Pass by the Mount Robson and Clearwater before arriving at the Sun Peaks by evening.

      Athabasca Falls

      A powerful, picturesque waterfall, Athabasca Falls is not known so much for the height of the falls (23 metres), as it is known for its force due to the large quantity of water falling into the gorge.

      Maligne Canyon

      Maligne Canyon is a natural feature located in the Jasper National Park near Jasper, Alberta, Canada. Eroded out of the Palliser Formation, the canyon measures over 50 metres (160 ft) deep. Popular for sightseeing and exploration, the area contains waterfalls, stream outlets, birds and plant life.

      Sun Peaks is a mountain resort municipality in British Columbia, Canada. It is located 55 kilometers northeast of Kamloops and 410 kilometers from Vancouver. The summit of the ski area is at an elevation of 2,080 m (6,824 ft), with an 881 m (2,891 ft) vertical rise from the base of the peak.

    Today we will start from the breathtaking Summer destination Sun Peaks, head west to Kamloops, visit the Ginseng factory. We will drive through the city of Meritt and visit the Hell's Gate, option to experience the Airtram over the river. After passing by Hope and Hunter's Creek, arrive in Vancouver by late afternoon.
