Travel to Shenandoah Caverns

The term "show cave" describes any cave that is run for-profit by an organization that maintains footpaths and lights, opening and closing hours, and the like for the cavern. The Shenandoah Caverns, in that way, may be the epitome of a show cave. This is not necessarily a bad thing-- what they sacrifice in "untouched by man" they make up for in accessibility. There is even an elevator that can take the disabled down into the caves.
