Day 1: Washington D.C.

Today we will gather in Washington, DC. We will meet at 12:00pm at the Natural History Museum. We will spend the rest of the day touring the city. Highlights of the tour include an optional Potomac River Cruise and visits to all of the major monuments, such as the Lincoln Memorial, Vietnam, and Korean War Memorials.

Then we will also visit the oldest market in Boston Quincy Market, where you will find local specialties and souvenirs stands. Lastly, we will return back to New York City.

Our journey will start by visiting the Wall Street and the New York Stock Exchange. We can also see the Old City Hall and the signature Charging Bull sculpture. Next, we will visit the American tallest building, One World Trade Center. Then, we are joining the Liberty Cruise, you'll feel the breeze of New York Harbor and enjoy views of the skyline as well as Brooklyn Bridge, Ellis Island and a close-up view of Statue of Liberty. USS Intrepid will be our next destination. Passing through midtown, United Nation (UN) and Fifth Avenue can also be seen before arriving at the Rockefeller Center. The last stop will be Times Square. Visitor will also have a chance to explore the Ripley's Believe It Not ! The tour will conclude by heading back to Washington D.C. *We will provide bus ticket from New York City back to Washington D.C. ( # 715 H St NW, Washington, DC 20001) after tour finish about 6pm (No tour guide accompanied).

Confirmation

  • Booking changes
    A fee may be charged for any revision or alteration made to a reservation after the booking is confirmed. Name changes or corrections may be treated as a cancellation and cancellation fees will apply. A change of tour date or tour itinerary may be treated as a cancellation, and normal cancellation fees will apply.
  • Cancellations and Cancellation Fees
    Regardless of reason, cancellations result in costly charges from our travel and hotel providers covering penalties and fees incurred by canceling confirmed and pending bookings. Therefore, cancellation penalties and or fees will apply. Time of cancellation will be determined when notice is received and confirmed by our office. Notice of cancellation must be made directly to Taketours by email or through web mail at Contact Us .
  • Cancellation penalties per person for tours (Notification day and departure day are not counted)
    Up to 46 days or more prior to departure - 10% of total purchase amount.
    21-45 days prior to departure - 25% of total purchase amount.
    8-20 days prior to departure - 50% of total purchase amount.
    Within 7 days prior to departure - 100% of total purchase amount.
    Day of departure or no show - 100% per person.
    Unused features are non-refundable. No shows forfeit entire payment.
    The refund amount will be credited directly to your account. Or the refund can also be forwarded directly to your credit card with a 10% handling fee.
    NOTE: We cannot grant any refunds more than 30 days after completion of tour.
  • Itinerary Variations
    We constantly strives to improve tour itineraries and features. If such improvements can be made, or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control make changes necessary - we reserve the right to vary itineraries and to substitute hotels. At certain peak periods duplicate departures may operate, and sometimes in reverse order in which case hotels may vary from those stated on the itinerary pages.
  • Tour Cancellation:
    We reserves the right to cancel or re-schedule any tour departure inaccordance with operating requirements or circumstances beyond its control. If cancellation is made any time prior to departure* of the tour, Taketours' only liability will be to refund to the passenger the amount it has received for the tour booking. We will try to re-book the same or similar tour. Please note that we are not liable for any cancellation penalties incurred on any other travel arrangements including air tickets purchased separately from customers.

  • CITY PASS: Passengers are NOT allowed to use a CITY PASS to purchase tickets for any of the optional sightseeing attractions visited on this tour.
  • Lodging: Single price is for one person staying in one room. Double, Triple and Quadruple prices are for two people, three people and four people staying in one room respectively. Triple and Quad rooms are based on the existing bedding in a room which is 2 double beds.
  • Language: All tours are escorted by professional bi- or multi-lingual tour and/or driver guides (English/Chinese). Depending on the number of passengers booked for a particular departure, tours and/or languages may be combined to operate the tours.
  • All purchases are subject to re-confirmation within 1-2 business days after booking, please do not book the airline tickets until you received the confirmation.
