- The Forbidden City implements a real-name ticketing system requiring the presentation of a second-generation ID card or passport. Adults and children must bring their original identification documents or passports upon entry. The latest visitor capacity restrictions for the Palace Museum and Tiananmen Square are as follows: the daily visitor limit is 30,000, with tickets available for purchase seven days in advance. In light of these stringent policies, our company will make every effort to secure tickets. However, with the comprehensive tightening of the reservation system and visitor limits, coupled with the arrival of the peak tourist season, we cannot guarantee ticket availability. Failure to secure a reservation will result in a ticket refund of $13 per person. In the event of a Monday closure, the itinerary for the Beijing day tour will be adjusted. Our agency will no longer accept complaints arising from failure to book a ticket for the Palace Museum. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused!
