Highlights
Travel through Yellowstone in winter, when snow reshapes the landscape and movement slows to a quieter pace. This six-day Small Group journey combines snow coach travel, expert-led encounters and time to explore at leisure, revealing how wildlife, geothermal forces and people adapt to the park’s coldest season. From Lamar Valley and Old Faithful to thermal basins and frozen lakes, the tour offers a grounded way to experience Yellowstone beyond the summer crowds.
- Yellowstone National Park: Spend time in Gardiner with a representative from Yellowstone Forever for a focused talk on how wildlife survives Yellowstone’s winter conditions. Through images, examples and discussion, you’ll explore how animals move, shelter and conserve energy during the coldest months, and how winter shapes the park’s ecological balance. Your visit directly supports United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 15: Life on Land.
