Welcome to the timeless land of the pharaohs. On arrival at Cairo Airport, you’ll be transferred to your hotel where you’ll have time to unwind and explore its elegant amenities. Later, get acquainted with your Travel Director and fellow travelers over a drink, toasting the start of your Egyptian adventure.

In the morning, fly to Luxor and visit the huge temple complex of Karnak. Walk through the avenue of ram-headed sphinxes to stand among the columns of the Hypostyle Hall. Later, transfer to your cruise ship, your home for the next seven nights. After lunch on board, take a walk through the Luxor Museum to admire its impressive collection of ancient artifacts. - EGYPT: USA passport holders require a visa for Egypt. An e-visa can be obtained prior to departure (we recommend applying 45 days prior) or a visa can be obtained on arrival.

- THE GRAND EGYPTIAN MUSEUM: Starting 04NOV25, the GEM museum visit will replace the current visit to the Egyptian Museum in Cairo. Guests will be with their qualified Egyptologist Travel Director inside the museum, with some free time to explore independently or visit one of the many shops and food outlets onsite.
- LUGGAGE ALLOWANCE: Each guest is permitted one bag with maximum dimensions of 58 linear inches (147 cm), the total of length, width, and height - and a weight not exceeding 44 lbs (20 kg). Guests may also bring one personal item, such as a purse, backpack, or similarly sized item that fits comfortably under the seat in front of them or the overhead compartment weighing no more than 15 lbs (7kg).
- MOTORCOACH NOTE: The Business Class legroom that is provided on motorcoaches in other regions is not provided on this itinerary due to regional limitations with vehicles.
