Icefields Parkway

A 230 km long scenic road that parallels the Continental Divide, traversing the rugged landscape of the Canadian Rockies, travelling through Banff National Park and Jasper National Park. It is named for features such as the Columbia Icefield, visible from the parkway. It links Lake Louise with Jasper to the north. At its southern end, the Icefields Parkway terminates at Highway 1.

After breakfast, leave the Icefields Parkway lodge and head into Jasper National Park. Visit the powerful Athabasca Falls, where glacial meltwater carves through a rugged canyon. Optionally take the Jasper SkyTram to Whistlers Mountain for panoramic views. Enjoy free time for lunch in Jasper Town. In the afternoon, explore the vast Maligne Lake, with an optional cruise to the iconic Spirit Island, before seeing the unique disappearing Medicine Lake, known for its seasonal water levels and Indigenous legends. Evening check-in at Jasper hotel.

Jasper SkyTram is Canada’s highest and longest aerial tramway, whisking visitors up Whistler's Mountain to 2,263 metres for breathtaking panoramic views, scenic boardwalks, and access to hiking trails—just minutes from Jasper town.

Maligne Lake

This amazing lake and the scenery surrounding it is one of the most-photographed areas in the world. It is beloved for its crystalline waters, the surrounding mountains, and Spirit Island. The area is home to many animals, including caribou.

Spirit Island Cruise

Cruise down the lovely Maligne Lake to small Spirit Island, the landmark at which you will turn around to return to your starting point.

The operation period is from May 29th to October 11th. Depending on the lake opening conditions, the operation time of the cruise ship may be adjusted. During the non-operating period, Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge and Lake Bowater will be substituted (for a total of 30 minutes).

Medicine Lake (Passing By)

Medicine Lake, also known as “the lake that disappears” is located 20 km southeast of the town of Jasper. Medicine lake is a 7 km long narrow lake that is formed by the Maligne River. Interesting enough, the lake loses water as it flows.

Day 3: Jasper - Pyramid Lake - Columbia Icefield (optional Ice Explorer & Skywalk-) - Peyto Lake - Bow Lake - Banff - Calgary (383 km)

After breakfast, depart Jasper for the final day of your Rockies journey. Enjoy the serene reflection at Pyramid Lake before heading to the Columbia Icefield. Experience the Ice Explorer ride onto the Athabasca Glacier and the breathtaking Ice Skywalk glass platform (both optional). After lunch at the Icefield Centre, continue along the Icefields Parkway to admire the vivid turquoise waters of Peyto Lake and the stunning mountain reflection at Bow Lake. The tour concludes with a pass through Banff Town en route to Calgary.

Visitors to Jasper National Park in Alberta can take this exciting ride across the ice field to the Athabasca Glacier. This is a great way to see the vast tundra of Jasper.

Bow Lake is a bright turquoise color which is due to the glacial runoff from Bow Glacier. Historical Simpson's Num-Ti-Jah is located on the shores of Bow Lake at the foot of Mount Jimmy Simpson.

To ensure a smooth and complete trip, we strongly recommend that you order activity tickets and meal packages, at the time of booking a tour. No additional changes or modifications will be provided within 10 days before or during the tour.
Hotel Class: North American Hotels do not have an official hotel star rating standard. The hotels involved on the trip are local brand hotels.
If for any reason you need to leave our group during the trip, you must fill out a "Letter of Liability Release"; no exceptions.
Guests under 16 years old, must be accompanied by an adult (Age 18 or above).
In the event of traffic, weather, or other circumstances not under our company's control, or if you are unable to participate in activities included in the itinerary due to personal reasons, no refunds will be given.
During the tour, please arrive at the pick-up location at the time scheduled by the tour guide. Do not be late to avoid delaying other tourists' itinerary. If you are late or miss the transportation we have provided, you are responsible (at your own expense) to meet the group at the next designated meeting location.
Maligne Lake Cruise Maligne Lake Cruise tickets are limited resources for pre control. When the pre control resources are sold out, it will be arranged for tourists on a first come, first served basis according to the order. If guests fail to book the Cruise tickets, the fee will be refunded according to the order content.
Luggage Policy: Each guest is allowed 1 check-in bag (total dimensions must not exceed 62 inches), 1 carry-on, and 1 personal item. Extra luggage will not be allowed.

Confirmation

After the reservation information is submitted, you will immediately receive a receipt email for the reservation order. Within 72 hours of submission, you will receive an order status confirmation email. Please do not book a flight until you receive an order status confirmation email.

Redemption

After booking online, you will receive a "confirmation email" with complete instructions, including the local phone number of the destination. When you are sure, be sure to print this "confirmation email" and take it with you on your trip -- evidence that you have paid for it.

Terms & Condition

The following applies to order cancellations and changes:
- reduce the number of participants for the same order
- cancel the entire order
- change of itinerary
- change different dates for the same trip
1. No refund will be made for any change or cancellation of the entire order or one or all of the activities, meals, tickets and accommodation within 15 days prior to the departure of the tour;
2. 16-30 days prior to the departure of the tour - 50% will be refunded
3. Charge C$50/ order/time service fee 31 days or more before the tour (activities and catering are refundable)
4. The refund amount will be credited directly to your TakeTours wallet as credits for future use. Or the refund can also be forwarded directly to your credit card with a 6% handling fee.
The following applies to order modification
- increase the number of participants in the trip (depending on the resource situation of the corresponding date of the trip)
- change the name of the person participating in the trip
1. No modification shall be made within 14 days before the tour
2. A service fee of C$50/ single/trip will be charged for 15days or more before the trip
If your itinerary includes shuttle service, please be sure to provide accurate flight information and arrive at the designated pick-up location in advance. The travel agency reserves the right to provide the second service or to charge $30 per person if there is an error in pick-up due to inaccurate information.
Visitors under the age of 16 should be accompanied by an adult (aged 18 or above).
Please understand that complimentary items unavailable due to traffic, weather or other force majeure factors, or you cannot participate due to personal reasons, the fees will not be refunded.
We strongly recommend that you purchase travel insurance.
If you have special needs (such as bed, vegetarian, baby chair, etc.), please inform us at least 7 days before the trip, we will try to coordinate, but no guarantee.
If you need to leave the tour, please sign the confirmation of leaving the tour.
During the tour, there may be different vehicles and tour guides to serve you. Sorry for any inconvenience!
The order of travel may be adjusted.
If the weather condition, war, general strikes, and other unforeseen circumstances interrupt the journey, our company reserves the right to rearrange the journey without refunding the tour fee.
