Rockies Optional Activity - Columbia Icefield Ice Explorer & Skywalk:
The Columbia Icefield Adventure reveals the most unique attraction in the Canadian Rockies. Massive Brewster Ice Explorers, specially designed for glacial travel, take passengers on a remarkable excursion onto the surface of the Athabasca Glacier. Then, Walk on a cliff-edged walkway, high above the Sunwapta Valley on the Columbia Icefield Skywalk.
*If not joining this activity, you will be self-explorering at the Columbia Icefield Discovery Centre or walk to the bottom of the glacier at your own risk
Optional Activity - Banff Photo + Wildlife Night Tour:
This itinerary is an optional tour in the evening. It will take you to the famous photography spots in Banff area. The journey start with the visit of wild animals. follow by the famous sunset of Vermillion Lake, and end with the beautiful view of Banff Town under the night sky. Experienced guides will share photography skills and provide assistance to help you leave beautiful memories.
Tour start half hour before sunet at Banff National Park. Duration: 2.5 - 3 hours; return to banff hotel after tour
*If not joining this activity, you will have free time at your leisure in the evening

Please advise your pickup time in advance and meet the guide in yellow coat at Exit #7 Information Centre.
Guests can also choose to take Shuttle Bus to hotel. Paid airport pickup: 1-4 passengers, C$60 each car; 5-10 passengers, C$150 each car (exclude tax, tips of C$4/person).If you do not need the pick-up service, please inform us one week before departure. If you do not provide the flight one week before departure, you will not need the pick-up service and shall go to the hotel by yourselves (we will provide a VOUCHER).
- Airport Drop off: Please arrange your return flight after 10:30pm.

- Pre-order Meal Selection: If you choose the meal plan, please select your main dish for lunch from the following options: Chicken, Alberta Beef, or Vegetarian. Each guest may choose their own option. If we do not receive your selection 14 days prior to the tour departure, "Alberta Beef" will be automatically selected as the main dish.
- Meal Plan: Not recommend choosing the group meal option for guests with any dietary requirement (e.g., vegetarian) or allergies.
- Hotel Policy
- Hotel Room Type: Standard rooms feature either "two double beds" , "one double bed with a sofa bed", or "one double bed". Please note that no extra beds are provided for 3rd or 4th guests in the room.
- Check-in Time: Hotel check in time is 4:00 PM. Guests arriving in the morning are not guaranteed to check in.
- Others: According to the regulations of different hotels, you may be asked to provide a credit card as a deposit for incidental expenses during the stay, such as telephone calls, etc. Smoking is strictly prohibited in the rooms. Violation of the rules will result in a fine of the passenger's own cost.
- Luggage Allowance: Each person is allowed one check-in and one carry-on luggage, subject to applicable size restrictions. An additional fee of C$52.50 (C$50 + 5% tax) will be charged per extra baggage.
- VIP Seat Availability: VIP Seats (first 4 rows) are not guaranteed on airport pickup day.
- Infant/Child Car Seat: Please bring your own car seat if needed for infants or children.
- Itinerary Adjustments: In case of attraction closures due to weather conditions, we will substitute them with alternative attractions to ensure a fulfilling experience.
Policies
TakeTours makes every effort to serve our customers better. We also advise all customers to purchase traveler's insurance in case of interruption, accidents, illness, or anything else that may come up. If a reservation has to be canceled, customers will be charged a fee depending on how far from the departure date the cancellation takes place.
- 32 or more days prior to departure - 10% of total purchase amount + 5%GTS
- 15-31 days prior to departure - 60% of total purchase amount + 5%GTS
- Within 14 days prior to departure - 100% of total purchase amount
- Day of departure or no-show - 100% of total purchase amount
- Unused features are non-refundable. No-shows forfeit entire payment.
The refund amount will be credited directly to your TakeTours wallet as credits for future use. Or the refund can also be forwarded directly to your credit card with a 6% handling fee.
We constantly strives to improve tour itineraries and features. If such improvements can be made, or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control make changes necessary - we reserve the right to vary itineraries and to substitute hotels. At certain peak periods duplicate departures may operate, and sometimes in reverse order in which case hotels may vary from those stated on the itinerary pages.
We reserve the right to cancel or re-schedule any tour departure in accordance with operating requirements or circumstances beyond its control. If cancellation is made any time prior to departure of the tour, TakeTours only liability will be to refund to the passenger the amount it has received for the tour booking. We will try to re-book the same or similar tour. Please note that we are not liable for any cancellation penalties incurred on any other travel arrangements including air tickets purchased separately from customers. We are not responsible for any other travel arrangements affected due to our cancellations.
If the tour package includes complimentary items, there is no cash value or refund for unused services.
