Johnston Canyon
Johnston Canyon is a must-visit natural attraction and one of the most popular destinations in Banff National Park! It is carved steeply into the limestone bedrock by thousands of years of water erosion. The dramatic Johnston Canyon is a breathtaking beauty located in Banff National Park. Overhanging canyon walls, waterfalls, deep pools of Johnston Creek, and lush forests can be seen here.
If Johnston Canyon is inaccessible due to maintenance or other force majeure conditions, the visit will be replaced with Lake Minnewanka and Two Jack Lake.

Sulphur Mountain
This mountain in Banff National Park is part of the Canadian Rocky Mountains. There is a gondola that takes you nearly to the summit, which is perched at 8,041 feet.

Depart from Banff and travel west along the Highway 1. Pass the dramatic ramparts of Castle Mountain as you enter the most iconic lake and glacier region of the Canadian Rockies.

Continue to Moraine Lake (seasonal, approx. 60 minutes).Enjoy a lunch break at Lake Louise Village, with time to relax and explore at your own pace. Cross into Yoho National Park and stop at Emerald Lake for a 30-minute visit.

Icefields Parkway
A 230 km long scenic road that parallels the Continental Divide, traversing the rugged landscape of the Canadian Rockies, travelling through Banff National Park and Jasper National Park. It is named for features such as the Columbia Icefield, visible from the parkway. It links Lake Louise with Jasper to the north. At its southern end, the Icefields Parkway terminates at Highway 1.

Maligne Lake
This amazing lake and the scenery surrounding it is one of the most-photographed areas in the world. It is beloved for its crystalline waters, the surrounding mountains, and Spirit Island. The area is home to many animals, including caribou.

Spirit Island Cruise
Cruise down the lovely Maligne Lake to small Spirit Island, the landmark at which you will turn around to return to your starting point.
The operation period is from May 29th to October 11th. Depending on the lake opening conditions, the operation time of the cruise ship may be adjusted. During the non-operating period, Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge and Lake Bowater will be substituted (for a total of 30 minutes).
Medicine Lake (Passing By)
Medicine Lake, also known as “the lake that disappears” is located 20 km southeast of the town of Jasper. Medicine lake is a 7 km long narrow lake that is formed by the Maligne River. Interesting enough, the lake loses water as it flows.

After breakfast, depart Jasper for the final day of your Rockies journey. Enjoy the serene reflection at Pyramid Lake before heading to the Columbia Icefield. After lunch at the Icefield Centre, continue along the Icefields Parkway to admire the vivid turquoise waters of Peyto Lake and the stunning mountain reflection at Bow Lake. The tour concludes with a pass through Banff Town en route to Calgary.
