      Today we will meet in Calgary. Airport pickup service is available, please see "Departure and Return" for details. You can spend your rest time at leisure or join in our optional activities (only available for guests arrived before 12:00pm): Calgary City Tour (3 hrs), Heritage Park Tour (3.5 hrs), Crosslron Mills Outlets (5 hrs), Calgary City Floating Tour (2 hrs; 4 yrs and above).

        Heritage Park Historical Village

        A historical park in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. As Canada's largest living history museum, it is one of the city's most visited tourist attractions. Exhibits span Western Canadian history from the 1860s to the 1950s.

      Calgary - Banff National Park - Yoho National Park (211 km)

      After pickup from Calgary we will head to Lake Louise. Then we will continue to Moraine Lake, see Ten Peaks Valley, Spiral Tunnel. We will also visit Emerald Lake and Natural Bridge.

        Lake Louise

        Valley of the Ten Peaks

        A region located in Banff National Park, this area is so named because the ten summits of the mountain range in the distance are clearly visible. It is an open valley area that also includes Moraine Lake.

        These are the western slopes of the Canadian Rocky Mountains. Towering rockwalls, spectacular waterfalls and soaring peaks earn the park its name.

        Emerald Lake

        The Emerald Lake in British Columbia, Canada's Yoho National Park is the largest of the park's many lakes and one of the park's most popular spots. The lake is named for the spectacular turquoise color of the water.

        Natural Bridge

        The Kicking Horse River, a Canadian Heritage river, in the Yoho park, has created a natural bridge through solid rock. This formation is located 3 km west of Field, accessible from the road to Emerald Lake.

      Banff National Park - Jasper National Park - Jasper (214 km)

      Today we will pass Icefield Parkway, visit attractions Bow Lake, Columbia Icefield, Glacier Skywalk, Ice Explorer and Athabasca Falls. Stay overnight in Jasper.

        Bow Lake

        A small lake in western Alberta, Canada. It is located on the Bow River, in the Canadian Rockies, at an altitude of 1920 m. It is one of the lakes that line the Icefields Parkway in Banff National Park and Jasper National Park.

        Duration: Approx. 20 Minutes

        Columbia Icefield

        The Columbia Icefield in the northern part of Banff National Park covers an area of about 200 square miles in the Canadian Rockies. The Icefield feeds eight major glaciers in the area, including Athabasca Glacier and Dome Glacier.

        Duration: Approx. 3 Hours 30 Minutes

        Crowfoot Glacier

        Crowfoot Glacier is located in Banff National Park, Alberta, Canada, 32 km (20 mi) northwest of Lake Louise, and can be viewed from the Icefields Parkway. The glacier is situated on the northeastern flank of Crowfoot Mountain.

        Duration: Approx. 15 Minutes

        Offering visitors a more laid-back mountain experience - with equal options for adventure, discovery and relaxation. The park includes the glaciers of the Columbia Icefield, hot springs, lakes, waterfalls and mountains.

        Icefields Parkway

        (Passing By) A 230 km long scenic road that parallels the Continental Divide, traversing the rugged landscape of the Canadian Rockies, travelling through Banff National Park and Jasper National Park. It is named for features such as the Columbia Icefield, visible from the parkway. It links Lake Louise with Jasper to the north. At its southern end, the Icefields Parkway terminates at Highway 1.

        Glacier Skywalk

        Visitors to the Columbia Icefield Glacier Discovery Centre in Jasper National Park are treated to something new for the Glacier Skywalk. Modeled after the Grand Canyon Skywalk, this horseshoe-shaped bridge lets guests walk out over the cliffside glacier.

        Athabasca Falls

        A powerful, picturesque waterfall, Athabasca Falls is not known so much for the height of the falls (23 metres), as it is known for its force due to the large quantity of water falling into the gorge.

      Day 4

      Jasper - Banff (257 km)

      Today we will visit Maligne Lake, Maligne Canyon, Peyto Lake and Crowfoot Glacier. Guests can choose to take Maligne Lake Cruise. During the trip, we will pass by Medicine Lake and make a short stop at The Crossing. We will spend the night in Banff hotel.

        Maligne Canyon

        Maligne Canyon is a natural feature located in the Jasper National Park near Jasper, Alberta, Canada. Eroded out of the Palliser Formation, the canyon measures over 50 metres (160 ft) deep. Popular for sightseeing and exploration, the area contains waterfalls, stream outlets, birds and plant life.

        Maligne Lake

        This amazing lake and the scenery surrounding it is one of the most-photographed areas in the world. It is beloved for its crystalline waters, the surrounding mountains, and Spirit Island. The area is home to many animals, including caribou.

        Crowfoot Glacier

        Crowfoot Glacier is located in Banff National Park, Alberta, Canada, 32 km (20 mi) northwest of Lake Louise, and can be viewed from the Icefields Parkway. The glacier is situated on the northeastern flank of Crowfoot Mountain.

      Banff Town - Banff National Park - Calgary (209 km)

      We will depart for Banff National Park to visit Johnson Canyon, Bow Falls, Surprise Corner, Hoodoos and experience Banff Sulphur Mt Gondola. We will also visit Banff Town. We will spend the night in Calgary.

      After pickup from Calgary, we will head for Waterton Lakes National Park. We will see Prince Wales Hotel, Waterton Town, Cameron Falls, Redrock Canyon and Buffalo Paddock. Finally we will return to Calgary.

        Waterton Park

        Commonly referred to as Waterton, it is a hamlet in southwestern Alberta, Canada within Improvement District No. 4 Waterton (Waterton Lakes National Park). As a designated place in the 2011 Census, Waterton Park had a population of 88 living in 31 of its 181 total dwellings.

        Cameron Falls

        One of Waterton’s most famous and most photographed spots with mountain water flowing over steps of ancient rock into a deep basin. Underneath is billion year old Precambrian rock.

        Red Rock Canyon

        Red Rock Canyon is the best place to experience Waterton's classic prairie meeting mountain landscape. The layers of red and green colored minerals offer a brilliant contrast to each other and the lush surroundings.

        If closed, visit OKOTOKS BIG ROCK instead.

        If you do not need the pick-up service, please inform us one week before departure. If you do not provide the flight one week before departure, you will not need the pick-up service and shall go to the hotel by yourselves (we will provide a VOUCHER).

        Cancellation and Refund Policy:
        TakeTours makes every effort to serve our customers better. We also advise all customers to purchase traveler's insurance in case of interruption, accidents, illness, or anything else that may come up. If a reservation has to be cancelled, customers will be charged a fee depending on how far from the departure date the cancellation takes place.

If such improvements can be made, or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control make changes necessary - we reserve the right to vary itineraries and to substitute hotels. At certain peak periods duplicate departures may operate, and sometimes in reverse order in which case hotels may vary from those stated on the itinerary pages.
      • Tour Cancellation
        We reserves the right to cancel or re-schedule any tour departure in accordance with operating requirements or circumstances beyond its control. If cancellation is made any time prior to departure* of the tour, TakeTours' only liability will be to refund to the passenger the amount it has received for the tour booking. We will try to re-book the same or similar tour..
