Enjoy a complimentary airport pickup service. Upon arrival, you have the option to head straight to the hotel and relax during your free time, or choose from the following activities (available for an additional fee) to enrich your first day if arriving early.

Departing from Calgary, we will head to Banff National Park. To enhance the travel experience, enjoy a ride to the Sulphur Mountain Summit with Banff Gondola (optional surcharge). Next, there are multiple attractions following, such as Banff Hoodoos, Bow Falls, Surprise Corner, and the spectacular viewpoint for the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel. Icefields Parkway
A 230 km long scenic road that parallels the Continental Divide, traversing the rugged landscape of the Canadian Rockies, travelling through Banff National Park and Jasper National Park. It is named for features such as the Columbia Icefield, visible from the parkway. It links Lake Louise with Jasper to the north. At its southern end, the Icefields Parkway terminates at Highway 1.

Around 10 am, we plan to take a ride on Ice Explorer to explore Athabasca Glacier. Around 12:15 PM, depart from the Icefields Center and head toward Sunwapta Falls. From the bridge over the canyon, you can watch the waterfall tumbling beneath you, offering a unique and different experience. On the way, pass by Medicine Lake and reach Maligne Lake, the largest in the Rocky Mountains, where there is the most famous Elf Island in the world. If you want to explore the world-famous Spirit Island , which is only accessible by cruise, take an optional activity of the "Maligne Lake Cruise" with a surcharge in Jasper. Stay overnight in Jasper.

The Columbia Icefield spans 200 square miles in the Canadian Rockies and feeds iconic glaciers like Athabasca Glacier. Enjoy a thrilling experience, including a Snow Coach ride onto the glacier and a walk on the glass-floored Skywalk, surrounded by breathtaking mountain views.
Ice Explorer and Skywalk will remain in operation through October 13. Subsequent itineraries include a stop here: in good weather, enjoy a 60-minute guided glacier foothill hike for close views; in poor conditions, view the glacier from a distance and visit Sunwapta Falls.

Sunwapta Falls
The falls are accessible via a 600 metres access road off the Icefields Parkway, which connects Jasper and Banff National Parks. It has a drop of about 18.5 metres and is most spectacular in the late spring.There are two falls, a lower and an upper one. The one most people see is the upper falls, as access is easier.

Medicine Lake (Passing By)
Medicine Lake, also known as “the lake that disappears” is located 20 km southeast of the town of Jasper. Medicine lake is a 7 km long narrow lake that is formed by the Maligne River. Interesting enough, the lake loses water as it flows.

Maligne Lake
This amazing lake and the scenery surrounding it is one of the most-photographed areas in the world. It is beloved for its crystalline waters, the surrounding mountains, and Spirit Island. The area is home to many animals, including caribou.

Day 5:
Jasper - Jasper National Park - Banff National Park - Yoho National Park - Banff - Calgary (464 km)

After breakfast, leave the hotel in Jasper and head first to Pyramid Lake. Next, proceed to the Maligne Canyon (Maligne Canyon is closed and will be replaced with alternative Waterton Lake and Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge), the longest and deepest canyon in the Rocky Mountains. Then, visit the Athabasca Falls. Standing on the cliffs, you can feel the water cascading down like a mighty army, with the sound of the water echoing all around. Next, visit Peyto Lake Along the way, pass Waterflow Lake, and enjoy views of Crowfoot Glacier. Continue to Yoho National Park, where you will arrive at the serene Emerald Lake and Natural Bridge. After stopping in Banff Town, return to Calgary.

Today, we will start with Waterton Lakes National Park. Moving on towards The Prince of Wales Hotel, we can upgrade our experience by adding a traditional English afternoon tea (optional surcharge). Next, take a scenic with Waterton Shoreline Cruise (optional surcharge) on the deepest natural lake in the Canadian Rockies.
On the way back, stop at Cameron Falls and take a walk up the short path to the overlook to get a better view.
