Question
Hi. My family and I want to go this August 2021. I have questions: 1. We have a 9 year old. Does he need COVID test or not necessary? We are family of 4, all 3 vaccinated except our 9 year old. 2. What are other health precautions we need to know before we take this trip. Are we required to wear masks inside the bus? 3. Please email me if there are other information we need to know before we book this trip. Thank you. *Is there a similar trip to this that is less pricey? This is $200 more than the one that leaves from Utah and ends in Denver. We love TAKETOURS! Would like to know the best offer. Thanks.

  • I recommend this tour. Our tour guide, Rebecca explained each area we went to in both Chinese and English. She explained it well and thoroughly. At the end of each day, she told us where we would be going and what time to wake up, and if we would need to supply a meal for ourselves. Every day, the schedule is very full, we usually left at 6 or 7 AM and would be back close to 8 PM or after 8 PM. My family got to see a lot of places and we got plenty of time to take pictures and rest. We are very satisfied with the two Chinese buffet she recommended to us. All the hotels we stayed at were great, clean and cozy, but some of them had slow or bad Wi-Fi. We drove for more than 1200 miles and it was really comfortable. We would go on another tour with TakeTours.

  • This is an amazing trip! It really went way above our expectations!!! We visit so many places!! Our tour leader, Rebecca, was the best! Not only she guided us and explain us in detail every little place we visited, she also was so sweet and was always pending on each member of the group. We all had such an incredible time. We highly recommend this trip and our amazing tour leader Rebecca!

  • Our family really enjoyed the tour: we saw some beautiful and astounding sights, and lucked out with the great weather and manageable crowds (we went at the end of June). The itinerary was quite packed, and doesn't let you linger for too long in each location, but it let us see everything we wanted to see, so we were content. The tour guide Allan did a good job of managing time, so that we were always on schedule. He explained the sights very thoroughly, albeit mostly in Mandarin; we noticed that his English translations were a lot shorter and less detailed than his Mandarin ones. We understand Mandarin so it was fine with us, and if short English explanations are fine with you too, then it won't be a problem. The bus rides were also manageable (the longest stretches were around 2.5 hours at a time); we just wish there were wifi on board. The accommodations were as expected: around 3-star, standard amenities, had wifi, some were older, some had free breakfast. Notable ones were the Holiday Inn at Cody (it was really nice since it was newer) and the La Quinta at Salt Lake City (it was older but had blazingly fast wifi). Overall would recommend!

  • This was an excellent tour, highly recommended. Allan was a wonderful and informative tour guide with a good sense of humor as well. The other participants were friendly and respectful. The hotels we stayed at were very comfortable, most had exercise rooms and pools, which were great to have. I traveled with my two children, 20 and 22 years of age, and they both really enjoyed the trip as well. We would definitely go on another tour with TakeTours.
