On this fun filled engaging tour you will visit Guinness Storehouse Ireland's No. 1 visitor attraction, a "must see" on any visit to Dublin. Housed in an old fermentation plant in the heart of St James's Gate Brewery, the now seven-storey visitor experience tells the story of Ireland's iconic drink and brings to life the heritage of this world famous dark stout beer. In the company of your local expert guide your journey begins standing at the bottom of the world's largest pint glass, which rises through the building. It is a dramatic story that begins over 250 years ago and ends in Gravity Bar, Dublin's highest bar where you will receive a complimentary pint of Guinness while enjoying spectacular views over Dublin and listening to some great stories from your engaging and friendly guide.

You will board our comfortable coach, meet your guide and fellow adventurers, then head west out of Dublin. We will pass the Guinness Factory, Kilmainham Jail, and Curragh horse racing track. There are quaint villages, lush countryside, and even some castle ruins to see as we head toward the Cliffs of Moher. So, keep your cameras ready!
10:40am: The Cliffs of Moher
You will have the opportunity to stroll around the impressive cliff tops, enjoy panoramic views and take in the history of the area. Marvel at the captivating landscape and stunning views out to sea. Feel the breeze on your face as you look out at the waves crashing against the cliffs below (from a safe distance!) This is a lovely walk, the landscape changes as you move, and each angle is more stunning than the next. You will certainly take lovely photos here! Included in the price is the entrance to the cliffs as well as an interactive video in the visitor centre.
12:45pm: Doolin - Lunch
After exploring the cliffs, you will have worked up an appetite, so we will stop for lunch at the delightful village of Doolin. Well known for its traditional Irish music, Doolin is located near Lisdoonvarna, famous for its matchmaking festival. Enjoy lunch here before boarding the bus again for further adventure. (Lunch not included)
2pm: The Burren
After lunch, we will head to the Karst landscape of the Burren. It is almost like taking a lunar walk as you traverse the rocky limestone exterior. This unique region is home to many plants and flowers, which manage to grow within fertile crevices in the rocky ground. Lovely orchids and bright gentian blue flowers only grow in this part of the country. See if you can spot them! Take a refreshing stroll right on the coast and navigate the rocky landscape.
3:45pm: Galway City
Discover the Bohemian city of Galway. It is renowned for its brightly painted pubs, live music, and cafes. Galway is a city steeped in history; explore the meandering streets and listen to the many street performers from around the world who call this city their home. Remnants of the medieval town walls lie between shops selling Aran sweaters, handcrafted Claddagh rings, and stacks of second-hand and new books. This "City of Tribes" will surely be a highlight of your day tour!
5pm: Depart Galway and return to Dublin
We will return to Dublin reminiscing about the day's activities, the memorable scenery, and with stories to tell about our experiences! The Cliffs of Moher are the most visited natural attraction in Ireland. We are certain the tour will be something that you will remember long after you've returned home.

Enjoy a day out to Ireland's "sunny south east". We visit the ancient city of Kilkenny or as it is known "The Marble City". We continue on to explore the historic Viking City of Waterford where we visit The Waterford Crystal Visitors' Centre.
Check-in Dublin Heuston Station (Customer Service Desk) for 07:25 (snacks available) departure of intercity train to Kilkenny. We arrive at 9am after a scenic rail journey and we take a guided tour of Kilkenny City known as "The Marble City", after the tour you will have plenty of time to explore and perhaps visit Kilkenny Castle overlooking the River Nore (admission not included) and the nearby Kilkenny Design Centre. We depart Kilkenny at 11:30 and arrive in Waterford Crystal on the banks of the River Suir in the heart of Waterford City at 12:15.
On arrival we have time for lunch (not included) followed by a tour of the Waterford Cyrstal Visitors Centre (included). The tour departs Waterford by train at 14:50 arriving in Dublin Heuston at 17:06.
If you would like to further explore this ancient Viking City on your own you can avail of a later departure from Waterford at 18.25 arriving in Dublin Heuston at 20:40 (snacks available).
