Our comfortable semi-private tour, led by an English-speaking driver, allow you to arrive in the heart of the historic center of Pisa, near the monumental Piazza dei Miracoli. The square welcomes you with the light of its white marbles monuments that contrast with the green lawn that surrounds them: the famous Leaning Tower, symbol of the city, the Cathedral, the Baptistery and the Camposanto. All these buildings were built between the 11th and 13th centuries, when the city was a powerful and rich Maritime Republic. This architectural ensemble, unique in the world, it is one of the most visited UNESCO sites in Italy. Upon your arrival, you will find your local guide waiting for you who will tell you the millennial history of the city that gave birth to Galileo Galilei and will reveal the secrets of the Leaning Tower and the other monuments in the square. The famous Tower is the bell tower of the beautiful Romanesque Cathedral of which you will visit the interior: here you will be able to discover many masterpieces, including the famous Pulpit by Giovanni Pisano. In the square you will also admire the Baptistery with its unusual circular plan and the monumental Cemetery.

Take advantage of the free time to discover the oldest Botanical Garden in Europe, founded by Cosimo I de 'Medici, a wonderful green oasis just three minutes from Piazza dei Miracoli. You can also choose to enter the lively streets of the historic center, with its Romanesque, Gothic and Renaissance buildings and its beautiful squares. Among all the squares, the unique Piazza dei Cavalieri stands out, with its famous “Scuola Normale”, one of the most prestigious universities in the world. Before returning to Florence, you will say goodbye to the city with a minivan drive all along the elegant Lungarni and, like so many artists and poets before you, you will discover the magic of the romantic views of this city along the curves of the Arno river.

  • Pisa, ITALY

    Pisa, ITALY
This Tuscan town on the Tyrrhenian Sea in northern Italy is most famous for its Leaning Tower. However, there are many more works of art and architecture to see, and time spent in Pisa will not be easily forgotten!

    Leaning Tower of Pisa

The world-famous tower built during the Middle Ages is a testament to both human ingenuity and fallibility. The tower tilted because the soil on one side was softer than on the other, and it could not support the tower's weight.

    Duration: 7-11 Hours

    Piazza dei Miracoli

    Piazza dei Miracoli
Also called the Piazza del Duomo, this huge, walled-off area contains some of the most famous architectural feats in the world: the Pisa Cathedral, the Pisa Baptistry, the Leaning Tower of Pisa, and the Camposanto Monumentale.

    Pisa Baptistry

The largest building of its kind in Italy, the Pisa Baptistry was begun in the Romanesque style and completed in the Gothic. Despite lacking excessive and ornate decoration, the interior of the baptistry is breathtaking, perhaps due to its simplicity.

    Pisa Cathedral

The centerpiece of Pisa's Piazza dei Miracoli, it is adjacent to the city's famous Leaning Tower, the Pisa Cathedral was erected in the Romanesque style. The interior possesses one of the finest collections of religious art in the world.
