The tour heads to eastern Oahu, passing famous sites including Waikiki Beach, Diamond Head Lookout (10-minute photo stop), the luxurious Kahala residential area (drive-by only), the Blowhole (10-minute photo stop), East Coast white sand beaches (drive-by), and Native Hawaiian preservation areas (drive-by). The final stop is the historic Pali Lookout (15-minute visit), site of the final battle of the Hawaiian Kingdom. In the evening around 4 PM, our vehicle will pick you up from the hotel to board the Star of Honolulu for a romantic sunset cruise. Enjoy unique Hawaiian scenery at dusk and a buffet-style Hawaiian dinner onboard.

It offers the widest range of cruise selections and the best staffed entertainment on any dinner cruise vessel From the elegant seven-course French style dining on the upper deck, to the value-packed Pacific buffet.

Day 3: Honolulu - Pearl Harbor - Oahu (14 miles)

Visit Pearl Harbor, the only military harbor in the United States open to the public (approx. 1.5-hour stay). The guide will provide a brief introduction on the bus. Upon arrival, watch a documentary about the Pearl Harbor incident and view the USS Arizona Memorial from afar. Then proceed to a city tour: pass by the Hawaii State Capitol (no stop), Chinatown (no stop), and the Palace of the Hawaiian King (no entry), with a 15-minute photo stop at the King's Statue. If time permits, visit the local Keoni Jewelry wholesale store before returning to the hotel. After a 1.5-hour drive to the Polynesian Cultural Center on Oahu's North Shore, explore seven traditional villages, learn native dances and languages, and enjoy cultural performances. A Western-style buffet dinner is followed by a large-scale Polynesian show featuring 150 performers. The day concludes with a return transfer to your hotel.

    'Iolani Palace (Outside Visit)

    The 'Iolani Palace in Honolulu, Hawaii is the only formerly-functional royal palace in the United States. Until 1893, King Kalākaua and Queen Liliʻuokalani ruled from the palace. Since then, it has been used as capitol building and museum.

    King Kamehameha I

    This brass statue honors Kamehameha I, also known as Kamehameha the great, who conquered and unified the Hawaiian Islands in 1810. It serves as an important cultural, spiritual, and historical landmark for the Hawaiian people.

    This memorial in Honolulu, Hawaii serves as a remembrance of the American soldier killed in the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor in 1941. The ship marks the resting place of over one thousand of the dead.

    Byodo-In Buddhist Temple

    Surrounded by koi ponds, this non-denominational temple was built in the 1960s to commemorate the 100-year anniversary of the first Japanese immigrants to the Hawaiian islands. Before entering, visitors should ring the peace bell.

    Mokoli'i

    This small island off the shore of Oahu has often been called "Chinaman's Hat" because of its resemblance to coned hats from Asia. The 12.5 acre island was separated from Oahu by erosion.

    A town along the northwest coast of O'ahu, Haleiwa is known as a top surfing destination. Matsumoto Shave Ice is a local favorite, where visitors can get Hawaii's favorite dessert.

    Dole Plantation

    Dole Plantation opened in 1950, billing itself as "Hawaii's Pineapple Experience." In addition to touring the fields, visitors can attempt the "world's largest maze," a 3-acre adventure with more than two miles of paths and a mystery to solve.

Complete Operator information, including local telephone numbers at your destination, are included on your Confirmation Email (e-ticket). When you reserve your attractions and services you will be asked to print e-tickets to present when you arrive at your destination. You must print the e-tickets and take them along on your trip; they are your proof of purchase.

  • Booking changes
    A fee may be charged for any revision or alteration made to a reservation after the booking is confirmed. Name changes or corrections may be treated as a cancellation and cancellation fees will apply. A change of tour date or tour itinerary may be treated as a cancellation, and normal cancellation fees will apply.
  • Cancellations and Cancellation Fees
    Regardless of reason, cancellations result in costly charges from our travel and hotel providers covering penalties and fees incurred by canceling confirmed and pending bookings. Therefore, cancellation penalties and or fees will apply. Time of cancellation will be determined when notice is received and confirmed by our office. Notice of cancellation must be made directly to Taketours by email or through web mail at Contact Us .
  • Cancellation penalties per person
    (Notification day and departure day are not counted)
    15-30 days prior to departure - 10% of total purchase amount.
    8-14 days prior to departure - 50% of total purchase amount.
    Within 7 days prior to departure - 100% of total purchase amount.
    Day of departure or no show - 100% per person.
    Unused features are non-refundable. No shows forfeit entire payment.
    Trips require a minimum number of participants to avoid cancellation. We reserve the right to cancel a schedule trip to fully refund affected customers although tour companies will make every efforts to maintain the normal operation.
    The refund amount will be credited directly to your TakeTours wallet as credits for future use. Or the refund can also be forwarded directly to your credit card with a 6% handling fee.
    NOTE: We cannot grant any refunds more than 30 days after completion of the tour. For holidays like Thanksgiving holiday season, XMAS holiday season and so on, all bookings of tours are final. NO change or cancellation will be accepted.
  • Itinerary Variations
    We constantly strives to improve tour itineraries and features. If such improvements can be made, or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control make changes necessary - we reserve the right to vary itineraries and to substitute hotels. At certain peak periods duplicate departures may operate, and sometimes in reverse order in which case hotels may vary from those stated on the itinerary pages.
  • Tour Cancellation:
    We reserves the right to cancel or re-schedule any tour departure in accordance with operating requirements or circumstances beyond its control. If cancellation is made any time prior to departure* of the tour, Taketours' only liability will be to refund to the passenger the amount it has received for the tour booking. We will try to re-book the same or similar tour.. Please note that we are not liable for any cancellation penalties incurred on any other travel arrangements including air tickets purchased separately from customers.
    We are not responsible for any other travel arrangements affected due to our cancellations.
