Where better to begin your journey across Turkey than in its cultural capital, the gateway to the Orient? Arrive at your hotel and explore the city your way before meeting your Travel Director and fellow travelers for a glimpse into what lies ahead.

Discover how centuries of Ottoman rule shaped the city's heritage as the meeting point between East and West when you join your Travel Director this morning for a guided sightseeing tour. See Hagia Sophia, once the leading church in Christendom, the Hippodrome and the Blue Mosque. Later, you’ll have time to explore Istanbul your way or consider a Choice Experience to the Topkapi Palace Museum and a cruise on the Bosphorus, the strait that separates Europe and Asia.

Then, get a behind-the-scenes look at one of Turkey’s craft traditions with a leatherwork display before continuing west to the Aegean and the easy-going charm of Izmir. Stretch your legs along the breezy promenade, soak up the harbor views and uncover the city’s multicultural past, once a thriving Greek hub. Tonight, why not join a Choice Experience and grab a table at a local favorite? - Hot Air Ballooning: Please note that Costsaver does not offer hot air balloon rides in Cappadocia. Neither TTC nor their Tour Directors can assist guests with booking or recommendations for hot air balloon rides due to liability reasons. Guests will have time to participate if they wish, but they will need to arrange it independently.
- IMPORTANT: Smaller vehicles without toilet facilities may be used.

2-29 days or more prior to departure - $280/person penalty.
Day of departure no show or late - 100% of purchase amount as penalty.
If the tour include airtickets, additional $75+airline surcharge will be charged as penalty.
Unused features are non-refundable. No shows forfeit entire payment.
Trips require a minimum number of participants to avoid cancellation. We reserve the right to cancel a scheduled trip to fully refund affected customers although tour companies will make every effort to maintain normal operations.
The refund amount will be credited directly to your TakeTours wallet as credits for future use. Or the refund can also be forwarded directly to your credit card with a 6% handling fee.
