Day 1

Drive along over 80 miles of the historic Route 66 roadway, your tour guide will tell you about the history of the area to give you a deeper appreciation for the landmark as well. Once arrival at Grand Canyon South Rim, You can participate in ranger-led talks or stop by the main visitor's center for Grand Canyon information. At the visitor center, guests can watch an IMAX movie about South Rim rock formation, viewpoints, and attractions. Your South Rim adventure is approximately three hours. And you'll have the opportunity to walk along the Rim Trail to see the most extensive and most profound parts of the Grand Canyon from Bright Angel Lodge, Mather Point, and Yavapai Point.

Route 66, United States of America

U.S. Route 66 or U.S. Highway 66 (US 66 or Route 66), also known as the Will Rogers Highway, the Main Street of America or the Mother Road, was one of the original highways in the U.S. Highway System.
Grand Canyon, AZ

Considered one of the seven natural wonders of the world, the Grand Canyon was carved over 17 million years by the Colorado River. This breathtaking, 18-mile-long canyon has been stunning visitors for hundreds of years.

Grand Canyon South Rim

The South Rim of the Grand Canyon attracts over 5 million visitors each year and by far is the most visited side of the Canyon. As with all sides of the Canyon, the South Rim features astounding views of what took Mother Nature millions and millions of years to create.

Grand Canyon Visitor Center

This visitor center in the Grand Canyon Village on the South Rim is a popular waypoint for travelers to the area, providing amenities and information for guests. There is a theater with an informative movie and a 3D relief map.

Mather Point

Mather Point is a popular stop along the South Rim of the Grand Canyon, providing an exquisite overlook of the vast and expansive natural wonder below.

Yavapai Point

One of many impressive lookout points at the Grand Canyon, Yavapai Point has an observation station and a museum dedicated to the geology of the canyon.

Bright Angel Lodge

One of the many comfortable lodges for visitors to the Grand Canyon Village, the Bright Angel Lodge offers lodging and amenities right on the South Rim of the country's greatest natural wonder, ensuring for a memorable stay.

This tour offers unique perspectives of the many sites and terrains you will see not only at the Grand Canyon but on the journey to and from. Buses are all top of the line with like wood floors, seatbelts, comfortable airline style seats, and panoramic windows. Drivers are trained tour guides that offer interesting facts, stories, and information during your journey to offer the best experience for you.

Departure & Return

Departure Details:Complimentary pick-up service available from selected Strip and Downtown Las Vegas hotels. Please advise pick-up hotel at "Hotel" area. passengers will be picked-up from their hotel at approximately between 5am and 6am, depending on the hotel location. Exact pick-up time will be provided at time of confirmation.
Return Details:Approx. 10:30pm Tour returns to the original departure point.

Additional Note

We recommend comfortable walking shoes and also sunblock and hats for protection during summer months. Dressing in layers is also suggested as summer monsoon storms are common. For the winter months please dress in warm clothing.

Confirmation

All purchases are subject to re-confirmation within 2-3 business days after booking. Please do not book the airline tickets until you received the confirmation.

Redemption

Complete operator information, including local telephone numbers at your destination, are included on your e-ticket. You must print and bring e-ticket(s) on your trip, as they serve as proof of purchase.

Booking and Reservation
All tours are for early booking, tour operator suggests the each passenger should book tour at least 3 weeks before departure date. Passenger may make reservation via email; however, seats will not be assigned until the deposit has been paid. At time of reservation, passenger may require to provide name, phone number and address and specify designated tour and date of travel.All seats are pre-assigned with numbers; seat assignment is based on a first come first serve basis after down payment.
Travel Documents
Each passenger must carry a valid travel document. (Valid visa for countries needed) (E.g. Green Card, Passport, Re-Entry Permit, and etc.) Tour operator is not responsible for lost or stolen personal items.
Cancellation penalties per person (Notification day and departure day are not counted)
4 days prior to departure - 5% of total purchase amount.
Within 3 days prior to departure - 100% of total purchase amount.
Day of departure no show or late - 100% per person.
Unused features are non-refundable. No shows forfeit entire payment.
Trips require a minimum number of participants to avoid cancellation. We reserve the right to cancel a schedule trip to fully refund affected customers although tour companies will make every efforts to maintain the normal operation.
The refund amount will be credited directly to your TakeTours wallet as credits for future use. Or the refund can also be forwarded directly to your credit card with a 6% handling fee.
NOTE: We cannot grant any refunds more than 30 days after completion of tour.
Broading Time and Location
All passengers must arrive 15 minutes before departure time. All passengers must show photo ID and boarding pass or tickets for boarding; absolutely no boarding without tickets. Departure time and boarding location will be confirmed after reservation is made.
Travel Insurance
Tour operator is not responsible for any loss of or damage to personal items, or personal injury that may occur on or during the tour. It is optional that passengers to buy travel insurance, for more information, please consult your travel agent.
Itinerary Variations
We constantly strives to improve tour itineraries and features. If such improvements can be made, or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control make changes necessary - we reserve the right to vary itineraries and to substitute hotels. At certain peak periods duplicate departures may operate, and sometimes in reverse order in which case hotels may vary from those stated on the itinerary pages.
Tour Cancellation
We reserves the right to cancel or re-schedule any tour departure in accordance with operating requirements or circumstances beyond its control.If cancellation is made any time prior to departure* of the tour, Taketours' only liability will be to refund to the passenger the amount it has received for the tour booking. We are not responsible for any other travel arrangements affected due to our cancellations.
Lugggage: Tour travellers are not allowed to carry luggage of any size, but are allowed to carry backpack within the relevant size.
