This tour was outstanding and exceeded our expectations. Our tour guide, Joel, was personable and very informative. He clearly enjoys what he does and it shows through his efforts to make the tour as enjoyable as possible for the customers. The drive back and forth to the dam was extremely pleasant and educational (the new van was roomy and comfortable). We had plenty of time for the tour of the dam (which is also great) and exploring the surrounding sites. Finally, the tour of Vegas (driving the Strip and walking Fremont Street) provided a ton of history I did not know despite visiting Vegas regularly for over 30 years. Joel went above and beyond by walking with us up and down Fremont Street, giving us interesting (and often funny) insights into the city's history. Thank you for an enjoyable, memorable experience!

The Hoover Dam, once known as Boulder Dam towers 726ft above the mighty Colorado River as it flows between Arizona and Nevada.
Enjoy amazing photo opportunities both from the bypass bridge looking down and by strolling across the dam into Arizona before taking an included in depth tour of the inner workings of this magnificent structure. (not private). This tour also includes a photo stop at Lake Mead overlook to view the largest reservoir in the United States and a photo stop at the world-famous Welcome to Las Vegas sign on the way back to your hotel.

The beautiful Hoover Dam is located 30 miles southeast of Las Vegas in the Black Canyon of the Colorado River. The massive concrete dam was a monumental undertaking built during the Great Depression and dedicated by Franklin Roosevelt himself.

Lake Mead is the reservoir formed by the Hoover Dam. When at full capacity, it is the largest reservoir in the United States. It is a popular recreation spot for fishermen, boaters, hikers, sightseers, and much more.

The Las Vegas Sign is a quick must-see for any visitors. Conveniently located near the airport, it is easy to reach. Though there are no real activities on site, getting a picture of the iconic sign is obligatory when in Vegas.

We had a great time visiting the Hoover Dam and Las Vegas. The company was so easy to work with and reached out ahead of time to confirm pick up and provided us with contact information for our driver. Paul, our driver and tour guide, was amazing and very knowledgeable! He made the tour more enjoyable for our 14-year-old twins. He was very accommodating and even made a stop at In-N-Out for my son, who wanted to try the burgers.

We loved this tour. It hit all the highlights of the Hoover Dam and Vegas strip/ Fremont St. Our guide Joel Clark was a fountain of knowledge of both the Hoover Dam and Vegas in general! Time and money well spent!! Highly recommend both the tour and Joel!

If you are doing this tour, request for Paul. He is knowledgeable and very engaging. Not only that, he is also very flexible and willing to modify our tour based on our requests (not outrageous). This tour is perfect if you’re traveling with a teenager and / or young adult. I recommend this tour!!!
